The biggest star in the world right now just endorsed Harris/Walz!  I had no doubt Taylor was going to do this.....I just thought it would happen in October and not right after the debate.  Either way, I guess Harris just secured the white suburban women and youth vote.  LOL 🤣

 

Now on to the debate....WTF was that about immigrants eating cats and dogs? And Trump thinks it's true because he saw people saying it on TV?? hahaha  Some other gems: people having abortions AFTER giving birth, transgender operations being done on illegal aliens, and "I have concepts of a plan."   LOL 

 

CNN had a Republican trying to critique ABC's fact-checking Trump during the debate, and the other Republican on the panel replied, "you can't blame the ref when your team can't sink a jump shot", and I think that is a perfect response.

For Brit Hume to admit the obvious, I'm surprised the rage didn't make him self combust. To think he was once somewhat respected when he worked at ABC News decades ago.

I had a feeling it would go well from the beginning when she approached him to shake his hand and introduce herself. I can't remember anyone crossing to him like that before. That was a psychological move and you could see in his slowed down walk that he was rattled by it. They choreographed everything she did tonight beautifully.

I had been excited about the debate, then nervous over the last weeks but still excited. But while I had considerable hopes even I didn't think she'd do this well. She demolished him.

 

 

She beat him so bad Trump went down to the post-debate spin room himself!

In the back of my mind, I knew VP Harris would handle business during the debate but I don’t like to get ahead of myself (at least not out loud). 
He was muttering and sputtering. He had absolutely nothing new to offer, the same worn out attack lines that have been weakened considerably by time and halfway decent fact-checking. And TFG revealed publicly what most of us pretty much already knew- he has no meaningful conversations with his running mate. Have he and Vance ever actually campaigned together on the same stages?

They've appeared on maybe a stage or two. Not much else that I know of.

Trump is of course already equivocating on a second debate, but the Walz/Vance one is scheduled.

Well-played, Ms Swift. That said...I definitely hope so on those two votes.

The debate was an unqualified success for Harris, not just because she was able to define herself and her plans, but because she was able to push a few buttons and let Trump show off his truest self.
