Last night, I watched an episode of "Touched by an Angel" about the panic surrounding the 1938 "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast, and it occurred to me: "fake news" is nothing new, nor is human beings' blind faith in it.

Amanda Bynes did a pretty memorable impersonation of Ross Perot.  Given the fact that it was a kid's show and the sketches lacked sophistication (to put it mildly) but to me, at such a young age, Bynes somewhat floored me in what she was able to do then.

So Twitter is saying that that wasn't Amanda Bynes but someone named Katrina Johnson?? Oops!

I don't know how good Amy McGrath's chances are, but I'm glad someone figured out that Mitch McConnell has to be removed from office as well, if we stand any chance at surviving.

The Democrats tried in 2014, but the candidate they ran, who on paper seemed strong, turned out to be a disaster (she wouldn't even say whether she voted for Obama). I don't think they'll have much luck this time either, given that Kentucky is a hate state, but I hope I'm wrong.

It looks like another female Republican candidate who was getting push from the media, and from some in the party who want to elect women, went down in flames.

It's time for everyone to just admit the GOP hates women. Even most of the women in the party hate women. The party is built off the corpses of girls and women.

I said Trump would win the election, and I was rebuked.  I said Boris Johnson would be England's next prime minister -- and again, I was rebuked.  You know, boys and girls, things would go so much more smoothly if y'all would [!@#$%^&*] listen to me, lol.

The BBC carries so much water for the right and the attacks against Corbyn were so absurd for so long that it's made him something of a god to many on the left. There doesn't seem to be anyone in the UK to turn to, as the Lib Dems are mostly opportunistic vipers.

Janice Frame is Evan's mother. Janice & Mac were together. Janice was up to no good. Mitch was helping her. She was slowly, little by little, every day, POISONING Mac. She was almost successful. In St. Croix, Rachel & Janice began what was literally a physical fight. They fell into the resort swimming pool, continuing to fight each other. Somehow, I guess Janice had it on her, there was a knife in play but Rachel kept Janice from stabbing her & got it away from her & they continued to struggle until Rachel stabbed Janice, which was a death blow. Mitch did a 180 & helped Rachel get Mac to the hospital. He was so weakened by the poison he could not even stand unassisted. It took both of them together to walk him to the hospital but it did save his life.  The St. Croix remote was SO beautiful, but so dangerous & scary. Also action-packed. Hooray! Maxim's backSo, I just got home & this is what I found waiting for me. I wrote this several hours ago. I guess I neglected to hit send.
    • Thanks @skylark and @DRW50!
    •     data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAPABAP///wAAACH5BAEKAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAICRAEAOw== Earlier I made a long reply but it doesn't exist. Crap.
    • I do not think I have ever agreed with Vee. Normally I do not read him, Ignore ya know. For some unknown reason I clicked to read. And I agree 1000%. Now, this is so odd that I need to go away for a bit.
    • Justine had a lot of hooey in it, but she was an actual woman, not a guy in drag. She was a doppelganger of Rachel, French, having had a past history with Carl, etc. Two of the more outrageous parts-Justine bricking alive Vicky into a wall & Justine grinding the gears driving a big rig.
    • Hehe, twi/x actually x, formerly Twitter. Typically I find 2 sources for "crazy fan rumors" - the wrong parts of FB and x. Oy.
    • Not to hijack the thread, but was that character Justine? I just found this interview online with Logan and see what you're talking about - wow!   http://www.anotherworldhomepage.com/chat85.html
    • My bad….ill fix that  Fixed
    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.
