I hope the UK gives revoking their withdrawal from the EU serious thought.  #Brexit has become such a colossal mess, leaving me to wonder why they bothered in the first place.

Or to D.B. Cooper's love child, Stephen Miller.

I pray they take the out, but I feel like their government in power is too cowardly to do so.

^ I guess that poll is good news, but I can hardly make myself believe that 30% of our population strongly approve of that man.

To be honest I have a feeling it's higher than that and they just aren't saying. He appeals to the worst in many.

Pence just terrifies me on so many levels.

The Pelosi-hating media is going to make a meal of this stuff for ages. I imagine Ed Rendell is on the phone somewhere right now.

A lot of beltway media has always hated Pelosi. This isn't going to change those opinions. What matters is she humiliated Trump and came out of this unquestionably looking very strong - and they will report that. That is very important for us going forward. There is a generation of Democratic voters who hear Bernie's platitudes but until now have never seen what Nancy can do.

The problem with Trump saying he wants a shutdown being a 'gift' for Democrats, as some are saying, is that to Trump's supporters, it is a good thing. The GOP will also see it as a good thing, as they can blame Democrats. And many of those who voted for Democrats this November will likely say that nothing has changed and Democrats taking power hasn't improved Washington, or they are being too stubborn, etc.

With that said, Pelosi and Schumer have no choice but to go to a shutdown rather than accept his crap, or continue what Schumer was doing where he was trying to say that a border wall is fine just with less money attached. Unfortunately I think Democrats are going to pay the price for this shutdown, but then, some things never change.

But the thing is, that's not true outside his (shrinking) base. The GOP Congress will not see it as a good thing. Nor will most of the public. The polling is already against him, especially on a shutdown. Now Pelosi has him on tape and has it hung around his neck.

Sigh:

And now, in the "LOL" department:
