Based on the voiceover promo under the fourth episode's credits (the QEII episode) and the commerical teasing the June 19, 1984, edition of the Enquirer, and assuming the last one didn't jump ahead, these are from Friday, June 8-Thursday, June 14, 1984.

Interesting that CBS Daytime had another big wedding two weeks after the last one (Steve & Betsy, ATWT). At least there was more than a month between Victor & Nikki, Y&R, and Steve & Betsy.

I found an old video no longer on Youtube and put it back up. It has several Capitol episodes. The video was titled Capitol and As the World Turns November 1986, but the ATWT episode is not from that time period, so if you know the dates for the Capitol episodes, I would appreciate any help.

0:00 to 6:38 is Wednesday, April 23, 1986. That night, CBS reran The Seduction of Gina, the movie teased during the first set of Capitol end credits.

6:39 to 31:10 is Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1986, per the promo for the next day's coverage of the All-American Thanksgiving Parade.

31:10 to 33:50 is a possible rerun of the Dec. 3, 1986, episode of Oprah with Burt Reynolds, with a cameo from a commerical for The Hanoi Hilton, released March 27, 1987. --- And now I'm just showing off.

33:50 to close is Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1987, per the promo for that night's broadcast of The Man With Two Brains.

Thanks for your help. I never do know how these work and you always do. So the ATWT was already available after all.

If you want me to credit you in the video just let me know.

Did anyone read Mike Poirer's article on Marlena Delacroix's site about Capitol's history? The most interesting nugget was that James Lipton wasn't planning on staying much longer had the show continued and Samuel Ratcliffe and Peggy Sloane were set to take over as headwriters.

I had no idea Jon Cypher was supposed to portray Sen. Mark Denning.  I wonder why they replaced him.  Did he leave to take another gig, or did it just not work out?

    • The first time I cried from a soap, Zane's death. I cried for 3 days.
    • Very happy to see GH hit #1 on Hulu! The show's been on fire and deserves the added eyeballs.
    • I really appreciated all the movement in today's episode.  It resonated with me that it felt like the sort of nervous energy that can surround a family after death. I want to point out the EJ scene.  I was riveted by his multi-layered performance. When he told Belle that he went to her because he loved her, and then saw that she was embarrassed by him, and rejected the part of her that was attracted to him.  It started to make even more sense why he would try to protect Johnny (who I still don't think shot him).  EJ feels like a pariah (although TBH, it wouldn't have hurt to bring Marlena some of that tea that everyone had been promising her all morning).  And he doesn't want to pass that along to his son by exposing him as the shooter.  It is interesting that we see none of those same concern between Kristen and lil'Rachel.
    • -- What a stupid party. Devon and Abby leave while Victor goes upstairs to the GCAC bar and talks with Kyle. Then we see Jack giving Nikki ANOTHER birthday toast as if the party has just begun. Huh??? -- This party perfectly encapsulates sweeps month for this show: lame, deadly, boring af. -- Once again, Cole gets really sick and no one insists on an ambulance or the ER. They really want him dead, don't they? Instead we hear multiple characters say "Gee, I hope Victoria doesn't catch it." Cole will be dead before Dumas. -- Kyle is really offering to make a contract with Victor so he can continue to see Claire? Jesus Wept. -- And then the shoe ends with Victor praising Nikki for softening his heart over the years -- after we've seen him treat Kyle, Michael, and Jack like sh_it for days.
    • Your welcome! Will never understand the point of Budig! I forget she’s there 95% of the time and Thudley does too!
    • I do think Zane could have been a decent long-term addition if they hadn't disposed of him - up to Lucas' arrival, at least.
    • It is 4 feet!!! https://www.hulu.com/hub/tv/collections/9979 Today, GH, I am amazed. #1 Up from #2 on Saturday, which was up from #4 during the week last week.

    • If he was responsible for Egyptian dust, you should have led with that! That one thing cinches it for me.
    • I would consider recasting Nikolas again just for the sake of those around him, but you may be right.
    • Watched Mondays episode, wow! That’s all I have to say. It was heartbreaking to watch. You really don’t know how invested you are in these characters until moments like this. Deidre was absolutely phenomenal in that whole episode, as I am sure she will be in the coming weeks. I was a bit torn about having Bo and Hope being the contrast in this episode, but I understand why they did it. And when Bo woke up and said fancy face to Hope, it broke me even more! Honestly, there are no more words except bravo to everyone involved and RIP to the greatest hero that ever existed in soaps John Black
