Recently dropped to recurring Dylan Bruce who plays Dr. Chris Hughes posted on his blog today that he recently filmed his last day on As the World Turns and wanted to thank his fans for all of their support.

No word yet from the show.

For some reason this character never quite catches on, even though he's connected to a major family. I think they should try recasting one more time with an established actor.

Okay, and DAYS couldn't have just waited a little while longer to grab Dylan Bruce as Brady, and they had to go and cast Eric Martsolf as Brady. STUPID!

Can't say I'm too sad about these news.

dc11786. Yeah, i think so too. At least Bruno had a poll up on his site about which actor (Bruce being one of the mentioned) people though was best for the role of Philip.

How many times can Chris Hughes possibly exit stage right? It's beginning to get old. It seems like every 3 or 4 years, he comes back, stays a year or two, and then leaves again.
