Doug Davidson Interview, Victoria Rowell Comment Made

Frankly, I don't get your point. People are interested in Victoria Rowell's point of view, so I would imagine they also would be interested in other cat members points of views. There are always two or more sides of the story. When Victoria does a one hour interview on a popular daytime site I would imagine it would stir up discussion and debate.

Like someone posted above, the situation was stirred up again by Victoria Rowell herself and her rather scathing comments on the show yesterday. Why is it that she deserves credit for being honest and upfront when she dishes the dirt, but when other's express their feelings about what happened on set they are petty?

But she has continued it a year and a half after she left the show. The Peter Bergman and Jeanne Cooper interviews were over a year ago shortly after she chose to leave Y & R. Why did she have to stir the pot again on what should be a dead issue if she has truly moved on?

I still think who initiated it can be debated. If my coworker insinuated that I played favorites because of others bringing in baked goods or because they went to happy hour with me and for no other reason then I would be offended. These people are adults and not high school students. I think that is what Peter Bergman responded to. I did not like what Peter said and found him very unprofessional, but I also don't see that Victoria is as innocent as she likes to portray herself. She does not come across as a women who would be anyone's victim, yet we are supposed to believe she allowed herself to be bullied on set for years?

Before this interview- VR has never said a word about her co-workers....She has only addressed the industry and tptb- never the other actors. She has never claimed to be bullied.--- quite the contrary. She claimed she had to fight hard to maintain her professional integrity....She didn't like the Emmy system- which many do not and have boycotted the Emmys because of- and she never named anyone at the helm. The podcast opened with questions and accusations and she was honest.....She is in no way playing innocent and I think is letting her fans know that it's not her professional or personal choice to be gone from the show- and under better working conditions she would gladly resume the role. But it's obvious tiic are not interested in that.

    • It was a real-life instance; I remember he had IG stories about the injury.
    • I don't know what killed Penny's husbands, but that sentence about "losing two husbands in automobile accidents & is now married to a racing-car driver" made me laugh out loud.
    • Shari Anderson was also head writer for a few months before the strike began.
    • I would agree.  Does anyone ever notice in Jan 1988/even Dec 1987, the show started to refer to characters from the past and mainly the Frame family?   It sounded like Lemay talk.  Jason Frame mentioned his sister Sharlene in early 88 but the ending credits still listed MD has head writer and I think Lemay was about to take over at that point.  The show hired Lemay back I believe to prepare for the 25th anniversary and try to recapture the audience that was lost by bringing the past back up.  Then the writers strike happened and all of a sudden the writing changed except when Sharlene Frame came back and we heard more family chatter again.  Maybe at this time they knew the strike was coming near to an end the producer forced the scab writing team to introduce Sharlene. I suspect even though Lemay was not writing at the time, the intent was he is coming back and the show consulted with him on his future storylines.
    • -- My Laugh of the Day goes to Carly calling the Metro Court a "five-star hotel." -- It's crazy, but what Drew did to Wiley makes Drew come off worse than if he actually murdered someone. -- Cynthia Wattros really needs to lay off the Botox. Because her face doesn't move, she's doing WAY too much with her eyes. -- Josh Kelly is looking so good with the new haircut. -- Rory Gibson continues to impress as nuMichael. Just another reminder that Josh Griffith doesn't know how to write for talent. -- This Lucky goodbye is sad -- in all the wrong ways. It could not be more pathetic. There's no doubt in my mind that Valentini told the writers they had 3 days to write him out and to make it ugly. No one will miss JJ.

    • Teach me to post cocky about all these rampant relations! As for the cut, it just made Leo Howard look more stunningly handsome. There are guys I think are hotter, but he's got the prettiest face hands down.
    • Yes Arianna and Tate are blood related through Sami and Theresa. They are also adoptive/honorary related because Arianna's third.parent is Sonny, which makes Arianna and Tate related through Justin and Isabella.
    • I saw more about Biden Old or the staged feud between Elon and Trump or just the usual distractions, but I will admit I don't stomach most of the news anyway.
