August 21, 200817 yr Member Folks, this is a make or break week for DAYS, which needs to capitalize off of the Olympics' ratings. For the first time in a long time this week can determine a soap's future and that is going to be the future for DAYS on NBC. All DOOL fans hold your breathe before looking at the ratings later today or tomorrow. Talk about scary! DOOL should have at least upper 2's, 3 or 4 million viewers or better. The Olympics in the daytime averaged a 6.2 one of those days last week from 12:15-12:30pm. That means DOOL was expected to get 5 million out of the possible 10 million viewers that day. My weekly ratings analysis will be made when I get the chance after the ratings are released. Edited August 21, 200817 yr by TMOTVSoaps

August 21, 200817 yr Member Looking forward to the ratings this week. Hope it's a good one for all. I'll be waiting Touspy!
August 21, 200817 yr Member But will Days be marked as "special" programming during the weeks of the Olympics? I know they must have gotten a lead-in from Olympic coverage, but some affiliates didn't air Days at all the past couple of weeks.
August 21, 200817 yr Member This should be an interesting week. I cant wait to see the numbers come in. Did ATWT little gimmick work?? Did Days go down or go up because of the Olympics? Did all of daytime go down because of the Olympics?? So many questions and no answers yet.
August 21, 200817 yr Author Administrator Woah!! The Olympics really helped DAYS! 2.4 +.5 in HH 1.3 +.3 in 18-49 1.1 +.4 in 18-34
