OK, a week since this "news" first broke, and we still haven't heard anything. Griffith isnt fired, he'll continue to hinder Y&R with his weak and imcompotent porducing skills.

I guess the good thing is there's still speculation that he's out, but that can only keep me hopeful for so long...

So, in her latest blog, Sara Bibel confirms that Bill Bell, Jr. has fired Griffith but is letting him stay through Sept, ,the end of his contract. So Jr. is in charge, no wonder his wife is the headwriter. I think we have all assumed that Bloom from CBS and Kent from Sony were pulling all the strings I think the Bell's still have power and that Jr. has tried to shake up the show by going along with the Latham pick, then adding his wife into the mix. Is Bill Jr. the true EP of the show who just doesn't get credit on screen. Maybe Bibel will find out....

Ooh. This is good stuff! I could somehow accept this...BBJr as EP. It feels right...gives me goosebumps. I just wish he wasn't an accountant :-(. But didn't Daddy Bill Sr. start out as an ad man or something?

I think Sony and Bloom were the ones who pushed LML. That being said, LML's failure has resulted in the Bells regaining their power...Billy doesn't know what he's doing, he ain't his father.

At this point I agree. Khalil doesn't have it, I don't think. Another recast would not be a bad idea.

One idea is to have a distraught leave town because of Chloe, and then return a darker, more aggressive character.
