ICAM. And it was karoke night, so it felt natural to me. Of course, I never minded the singing anyway.

Kevin showing up at Jana's party made me :):) And I liked the scenes with Kevin and Michael today. It was nice to see the brothers spending time together.

No Newmans today but looks like they will be back on tomorrow. It was nice to have a break from them, but for me their story is one of the more interesting ones going on right now (duh).

I did too. It was fun to watch.

I think it would have been a lot more interesting if EOB came as Jill's niece Jennifer who was raised in London. I guess I am obsessed with classic soap opera families and it helps me care more for the characters. BTW EOB is great :)

As for Chloe, she is way too interesting to be involved in a triangle with the world's most stupid man and the Cricket-clone. The friendship with Amber is great, but I wish she had some family in town.

Josh Morrow looks like a young boy himself, it was weird seeing him with Noah :)

Overall the show is very good these days, but I can't stand Victor in Mexico. For some reason his scenes bother me very much and I have to FF them..

Elsa, I *LOVE* this!!!!!!!! Wow, it would also have Jill's niece involved with a Fisher, which ties back in to the Gloria/Jill thing... wow, it makes perfect sense. Plus, Jennifer can still be quirky like Jana... it's not that much of a stretch. And at least I would care. Because you're right, I do like the actress -- it's just the character and her whole Jonathan Lavery-esque story that drives me insane.

Good! Maybe now, Y&R can fix Chloe's storyline, which brings "nonsense" to a whole new level, lol.

Considering the nature of said "Jonathan Lavery-esque story," brimike, that's a very unfortunate choice of words, lol.

    • I would REALLY like to know why Rauch and Harding Lemay hated Jacqueline Courtney so much. The hate for her almost shimmered off of Lemay's book. He constantly ripped her acting. I never understood it. Was she the greatest actress ever? No, but she very good and had that certain something that made audiences like her. Lemay adored her replacement on AW. I forget her name--because she was extremely forgettable! There's got to be some story behind that story.
    • The "LiRic" fans are going to eat them up. (and somehow that is her most viable current relationship)
    • I'm not familiar with Irna's timeline of comings/goings, but I got the impression Neil Wade was written off circa 1967-1968.  (And I might be jumping to conclusions, but I also felt maybe the character was jettisoned because Rosemary Prinz was leaving?)   I know who Doug Cassen is, I think.  Wasn't he one of Claire Lowell's husbands?  They didn't mention Neil was his son.  But clearly there was a LOT unmentioned in the short synopsis that I was reading.
    • That makes sense. Rauch did like to play games, as shown with some of the antics with the Labines. We should make some screencaps.  I can imagine her not being thrilled by much of anything in 1996.
    • I believe he also turned out to be Doug Cassen's son. I could be wrong about that. Yeah, he doesn't get talked about much in the history books.
    • Cady McClain said the same thing with her hairdos - she switched it up so much because she was either unhappy or bored.  Kim must have been unhappy in 1996 because she has so many different short styles, it's wild (haha).
    • She definitely was trying new things with her hair and makeup in the 1986 scenes I saw so it tracks. Rauch wouldn't have been there, but it just strikes me as a conversation Rauch would have had with her with when he was at GL. Rauch loved to badmouth JC. So she put it in the book as if she had been told at the time. It's like how she has Michelle Forbes on GL years before she actually arrives or Ellen Wheeler firing people who had been fired yrs. before by Rauch or Conboy.
    •   From what actors have said, Y&R has been very busy taping the upcoming storyline, and that was up to and including the week of Diamont's party, and after.
    • Well, a good number of sets were up when I was there, but there was a limited number of people around. Even Y&R seemed dead, but maybe everyone was out for lunch at the time? I remember driving from the parking lot and preparing to enter the roadway when I saw Michelle Stafford and Christian LeBlanc returning from what I think was their lunch break. Not sure where they went or were coming from.
