That would pretty much be slitting the show's throat. Like him or not Hensley is a vet, and I think there are alot of people who would tune out just on the principle of him being fired

Because of budget constraints on "As The World Turns" Mike Kasnoff

will be leaving Oakdale at the end of August.

I'd like to express my gratitude to the entire cast, crew, and

production team who have made this an irreplaceable experience. I have

been privileged to be a part ATWT and this concludes an invaluable

education. Most importantly, thank you to the fans who have been

energetic supporters of both Mike Kasnoff and the show as a whole. I

view my departure as a positive step forward. Stay tuned as I share my

I feel sorry for the guy. Yet, we still have Roger Howarth. I can just imagine how much money he makes. Cutting him would free some money for that buget. Prescott was a newbie so he didnt make that much.

Jon Prescott is too young for Mike. Glad ATWT fired him, even if I haven't watched the show in 2 or 3 years, lol.

I don't buy for a minute that it was money. That is just saving face. He was too young and just didn't work as Mike and they certainly tried him in plenty of story. Who knows maybe they even started with Lily and that just didn't work either.

He was hired during the strike and I think it was JP's plan to rid the show of anything that changed while she was gone.

Wonder if anyone else will be leaving, seems like the exits come in numbers.
