Deidre Hall Tackles A Double Role

Marlena (Deidre Hall) will be in trouble when Stefano decides to pay her back for putting him into a drug induced coma. (Wow, that’s the soapiest sentence ever!) According to Hall, “Stefano comes back and he’s pissed! He comes right after her. He’s going to do to her what she did to him. But in the midst of it, in her drugged state she sees her sister, Samantha. I’m going to play both parts. [Previously the role was played by Hall’s real life sister, Andrea.] I shoot it on Wednesday. We pulled some old tapes and I’m working with a coach.” Hall enjoys the Marlena’s interactions with the new John. “Drake is so funny as the character. I watch him in rehearsal and I can’t stop laughing.”

I dont get it...Marlena can't get a storyline to save herself and now they're giving Samantha a storyline? What next...are they going to have Marlena, Samantha and Hattie running amock in Salem?

Yes, sorry for the confusion, I didn't find out the secondary info until after I'd posted it.

I am not suprised there was more to the story. The writer of it can't even get characters names right, Eva? Its Ava.

ANd FYI? That is TOTALLY not the "soapiest sentence ever". I can think of hundreds MUCH soapier.

There's no way they would undo that histortic moment on DAYS. Dena Higley may suck, but she's not that crazy.

Personally, I love the twist of Marlena "seeing" Samantha. It says that Marlena sees Samantha in a drug induced state, not that she sees her alive and in the flesh. I dont think that they would be that stupid in undoing hard core Days history.

Sorry, my mistake, I've not really been following DAYS lately...I YouTubed a recent episode and it looked like a bad porno with Chloe/Lucas and EJ/Nicole having sex in public places, complete with porno-esque music.

God, ONE overemoting Deidre Hall is bad enough, now we are going to suffer through TWO? Blech.
