    I'm just waking up. Hungover like crazy and SORE, but in a good way. Lotsa dancing and ....

    I knew there would be something but I never expected such a great party for something I dreaded so much. My partner, my HUSBAND, is the most wonderful man on earth - took me about an hour into last night to see it, I waqs pissed off he spent so much monmey when I just wanted to crawl under a rock. Friends, family, party, crazy karaoke, open bar, lots of food. NO GIFTS. I said that early on because I knew he had something up his sleeve.

    Turning 40 is not so bad.

    Just so you know, turning 39 is a lot worse! :D

    Once it's done it's like - THANK GAWD IT'S OVER!

    (but I cancelled my hearing aid fitting on Monday. I'm so vain. I probably think this thread is about me :P )

    ETA: and they DYED MY HAIR! No more salt and pepper. Asian black. My eyebrows too. We'll see how long it lasts. I'll post a few less embarrassing pics once my sister sends them. Something tells me she's out of commission for a few days though. She met a nice guy at my party, a co-worker I really like. Neither one of them is answering their phones. ;)
