Sign me up for a Nicole/EJ pairing. I could watch those two read letters around a table talking about some bullshit romance and I'd still be happy (*snicker*).

Chloe and Lucas........yummy. Yummy yummy screw.

Phillip and Morgan? I could get into it. Kristen Renton is smokin and Jay Kenneth Johnson is just.......see the above comment.

I'm back to hating Chelsea again. No real reason why, but I do, and I don't care.

I'm still on Tuesday's episodes -- sorry!

EJ & Nicole: HOT. Even though I think EJami may be the end-game (and I like them, too).

JKJ is always HOT but that goes without saying!

Um, I have to laugh at FauxRoman everytime he opens his mouth:

Random policeman: Lucas Horton, you are under arrest!

Lucas

Sami: Daddy! NO! Don't do this!

Roman: Thami. Come on. Lucath vi'lated the conditionth of hith houth arrest. Not only did he leave the D'Mira mansion but he deliba-- debila-- deliballally took off hith ankle bwathlet. Hic!

DAYUM. Either Roman is a squirrel storing his food in his cheeks. Or he's a drunk!

LOL... He's been like that for years. I think he's just lost most of his back teeth, that's what it sounds like to me. And to me, it's more of a "Shammy" instead of a "Thami."

But what I want to know is: who the F is making everyone on Days obsessed with "Going Green?" Is that an NBC thing? Or did Peter Reckell not agree to re-sign his contract unless all the Brady's became environmentally conscious? LOL.

Not that there's ANYTHING wrong with going green... it's just a little hamfisted the way they force it into every script. "Oh, thank goodness the Brady Pub went green! Not only is there enough battery power to keep us running through the backout, we're also negotiating with the city to find a way to sell the power back to the grid!"

We. Get. It.

Until soaps are no longer written in this condescending tone, people will turn them off.

LOL, I noticed that, too. And ITA about the condescension. At least it wasn't as bad as that Midol promo with Stephanie easing Morgan's cramps. Oh, and migraine. Thanks, Midol!

Liked yesterday's episode because it featured Victor and Nicole celebrating their divorce. Sigh. I love the Kiriakises. Especially Victor. And I have been adoring Nicole since she returned. I liked the way the JER-tastic flashbacks summed up Victor and Nicole's history -- and ended with Victor strangling her! Cue to Victor, yesterday, smiling malevolently across the table at Nicole. That heart attack at the end -- Victor better not die.

Stephanie & Max bother me. I don't think it's the sorta-incest thing. I think it's the two-permatanned-bimbos-so-why-should-I-care? thing.

Roscoe Born's voice, though. It gives me goosebumps!

The "Going Green" crap is something NBC Universal is doing across all of its shows and cable platforms -- one special day or week is fine, but when you do it day in and day out it gets tired real fast.

Poor Victor. I swear he had that stroke when he heard Caroline say it's a date. Probably shocked the living crap out of him. I did like the flashbacks to him and Nicole. Now THOSE are the flashbacks I want to see. Six-year old flashes tell a good tale, not stuff we've seen just the previous day. The good thing about this is I think they're setting the groundwork for him and Caroline to be possibly involved.

Today had the worst use of flashbacks ever.

In one of the acts which lasted a total of 9 minutes, 6 minutes of that were flashbacks! First Chloe has a FB (scene that we saw last week) that's 3 minutes long and in the VERY NEXT SCENE, Max has a FB (scenes we've seen numerous times already) that's also 3 minutes long.

And it looks like Kate/Dan slept with each other.....off camera. I can't think of anything else that "Chelsea can't find out." That is so lame to have it off screen.

What's with all the off-camera stuff?

Seriously, GL did this a few years ago with... uh... was it Beth and Rick? I don't remember... it was one of those "Yeah, they slept together, and we'll reveal in flashbacks how it happened!"

Oh. My. God. Just TELL US A STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*sigh

Now, I totally disagree with it comes to EJ and Nicole. They've been building the bond of friendship/clientship for several weeks now, all the time with Nicole showing that slight longing. Then, there was the day that EJ and Nicole were going to make love, but Nicole stopped it. EJ just got his heart slapped, and he wanted to go on. This isn't anything unusual on Days. And, it seems like quite a few people on the Net agree, even some EJami fans. There are people who HATED the whole EJami thing and the way it came about, but enjoy James Scott. This is like a second chance for him. Certainly, AZ has improved immensely since her last bout on the show.

Now, my concern is Dena dropping the ball on this whole thing. I would love to see EJ use his Dimera-ness against Trent. I think if they continue with EJ and Nicole, they have great possibilities. Plus, this would involve more characters in an umbrella story with Trent and Max (heaven knows, we need more than Max to keep this afloat!). I want to see more of the Nicole/Ava friendship come into play before Ava leaves. So, this is my worry.

Now Lucas and Chloe? Yes, that was rushed and forced and a silly obstacle. They want something new for Lucas, but they're not thinking it through thoroughly. I am of the mind, though, that both Lucas and EJ need new things for a while. Frankly, I'm hoping that Allison Sweeney chooses to take a break during her pregnancy, concentrating only on The Biggest Loser for a while. The whole Sami character has gone down the drain. What was intriguing about her was the fact that she WASN'T Belle or Carrie, complete with glitter and Teflon. Now she is them, but of the shrewish nature. What the heck is attractive about that? Also, this sudden defense of her mother? If anything, from the way Marlena has treated her over the years, she should be a little wary, but heck. That's my "I dislike Marlena" prejudice coming through.

No, JackPeyton, I'm sorry. There are good things, but it's far from perfection. Although, I like Kate being a monkey wrench in the whole Chan thing, which needs to die and die now. They've gone from hero worship of Dan to being wary of him, but now with Victor, he'll be the hero again. I need a barf bucket.

And, I'm sorry, but I find Stax blah. I love DB against RB, though! Roscoe Born is the ultimate in villainy right now, which means the character will be dying soon. Gosh.

ETA: I just realized I quoted the wrong post! I meant to quote Toups's post about Nicole and EJ. Sorry!

    • While I do love the chaotic energy that is Kat vs Lesile, it is a bit extra. Sheltered, virginal Kat who plays it safe from her man to her wardrobe understands that Leslie is dangerous, but she's out here showing up everywhere and anywhere that Lesile is to be found and actively going to places where she is alone? I mean Kat doesn't even act a little afraid or intimidated by Leslie. Meanwhile, big Ole Derek out here begging for his and Ashley's life to Jacob.  As for Dani, I didn't see it that way. Dani and Bill were together for 30 years and shared a family. I believe there was real love there at one point. Bill is still an ass and Dani is still crazy, but realizing she may lose him and her daughter's may lose their dad definitely struck a chord.
    • Funny I randomly saw Kami’s lengthy post about the 44th anniversary of the Walton’s finale last week pop up in my news feed on Facebook. A few inaccuracies to her post but overall it was pretty insightful and interesting to read.
    • Well, depending on rewrites...Jennifer Richards potentially slept with Brandon and Alan. It does feel like we're forgetting someone, but then again, maybe I'm confusing that with brothers, which would include a lot more.
    • Maybe it’s me, and the fact that RC isn’t at the helm, but since Cwikly and Ford have taken over I’ve noticed the show doing a lot of things differently directing wise, and since the storyline of John’s demise began, the show has been using different scores, and dare I say better ones than this time last year. It’s interesting and I wonder if the any of it is Noel Maxam’s influence before being promoted.
    • I think Nicole is about to figure out what's going on between Andre and Dani.
    • @Efulton thank you. I don't know how I missed it or didn't recall it.  I'll blame amnesia . Anyway @Errol Could the newer thread be merged to the existing? Thanks in advance.
    • I just finished watching and I have to admit, not once did I find myself wondering who wasn't there. Quick question for anyone who followed this better than I did: was it only Andrew who rescued Cat and John from Clyde, or was Shane involved too? The reactions during their scenes today felt a little off to me. I know it was meant to be vague, but I didn't find it strange that they already knew each other.
    • Yeah, financially, Luna is in better shape than Deacon and Sheila.   -- Scott Clifton must have decided to chew the scenery in every scene of this "Liam is Dying" storyline. Yikes.
    • If J.R. wasn't busy with Ewing Oil, he'd be a heckuva soap recapper. He was SO gleeful at recapping Jenna-Bobby-Pam when the trio and Mark encountered each other at the Oil Baron's Ball. That being said, Lucy, presumably Sue Ellen and maybe Ray should all know this story, or at least part of it. Lucy was definitely at Southfork during Jenna and Bobby's relationship, and I believe Sue Ellen was about to marry J.R. around the time Jenna jilted Bobby. (Ray might not have given a damn.)
