Rather than have another I had sex with you five minutes ago and now I'm pregnant s/l between Cane/Chloe I would much rather have had TIIC have a Cane gets drunk and reveals to Chloe WHO HE REALLY AND WHY HE'S COME TO GC s/l. Now that would have been a smoking reveal in the hands of a scheming Chloe.

Yes, that would have been much better. But the writers won't do that. They'd rather have the amazing couple Lily and Cane together. I wonder how long they'll torture us with them.

They have their fans. I guess I don't mind this Chloe storyline as much because it adds some angst to a rather dull, sweet, and pretty couple. They were getting too perfect. Cane was VERY menacing today, I saw shades of TEVN coming out.

I actually like the chemistry between Chloe and Cane a lot better than Lily/Cane. Chloe makes him an interesting character again. I just find him so boring with Lily. I just can't get into the whole Lane as a couple. They are too mismatched to me. Cane really needs to be with someone who has a personality and an edge and that isn't Lily, IMHO.

I watched EH on AMC and I did not care for Maggie. On Y&R, I am enjoying her performance much more and I like the manipulative aspect of the character. I am glad that they are going to keep her around. Maybe they should do a Brad/Chloe/Cane triangle!!

I'm surprised no one is mentioning today's fun Judith Chapman interview. Here are three brief excerpts...you can see the full interview at the link.

TVGuide.ca: So why are you so damn fabulous?

Judith Chapman: Years of practice, darling! [Laughs] It’s not very often that you have a character written for you and the powers-that-be let you run with it. And I’ve reached a point in my life where I have nothing to lose, but run with the storyline. And even take it a step further at times.

TVG: I’ve been dying to ask you who are your acting idols on daytime and otherwise.

JC: Well, of course 20 years ago, I was called the Bette Davis of daytime. If I’m still considered Bette Davis today, that’s high praise and I’ll happily take that.

TVG: Do you have any ideas regarding Gloria’s future on the show?

JC: Gloria wants true power. She could care less about landing another rich husband. She’s already married into power, so I think she wants to earn authentic power on her own. I’m hoping Gloria moves into the power position with her fabulous sons.

TVG: Gloria’s learning these days…

JC: I know! Maybe it’s finally time she learns what true power is: which is a sense of self, and a sense of purpose. True power doesn’t involve men or money! Gloria can be a role model — in an extreme, of course — to many people. The biggest lesson she needs to learn is that we are significant on our own accord. That’s Gloria’s next journey. She’s a scrapper, all right. But these damn people keep irritating her so often; she’ll get off-course and pull out her claws, which distracts her.

I love what Chloe is doing to Lane... it's classic soap lie... "I slept with you, and now I'm pregnant with your child"... CLASSIC! And EH is great at playing a soap bitch! Plus, I hate Lily and Cane together, so anything to break them up!

I love the return of REAL Phyllis! Even if it is with Amber! I hope Phyllis crushes that slut!

And I guess I will be the only one to say that I would LOVE to see Nick and Sharon back together!
