Soap and Affairs and Marriages after Affairs

I have a question I think only someone on this board can answer and be un-biased.

Affairs have been apart of soaps since as long as I can remember, I started watching soaps in the mid sixties. But I swear to hear some fans talk on the messege boards, a couple that marries after an affair is something new and they are the lowest of the low.

With only using current soap operas, how many soap couples have gone from affair to marriage?

Jackson & Erica (AMC) - she had an affair with him while married to Travis

Nash & Jessica (OLTL) - affair while she was married to Antonio

Luke & Laura (GH) - affair/rape while she was married to Scotty

Josh & Reva (GL) - affairs while she was married to Billy and H.B.

Bob & Kim (ATWT) - first had an affair while he was married to her sister, Jennifer

Tad & Krystal (AMC) - had an affair while she was married to Adam

I know there are others but I can't think of them right now.

GL's Blake and Ross - It wasn't a traditional affair (Holly and Ross were not officially dating or anything at the time), but it was still a huge blow when Holly found out the truth. Two years later, in 1994, Blake and Ross were married at the Courthouse.

People who feel that way need to stop watching soaps. It happens. The need to DEAL.

Ridge and Brooke - Ridge slept with her while she was married to his father

I think it's pretty normal for an affair to lead to marriage. If the couple is popular, the audience will forgive the affair and want the couple to get together. Or the affair to marriage will lead to other drama on the show, no matter how unpopular the couple was with fans.

If I'm not mistaken, it was Nikki and Victor then Nikki and Kevin then Nikki and Victor, with Tony DiSalvo sprinkled in there somewhere.
