Oh My Freakin God, you got Carrie Genzel! I mean I didn't really care for her as Skye but wow, Carrie Genzel. Can't wait to see who you get next!

If you only knew what these interviews meant for me, as a a fan. I still get star strucked. I cannot believe I am talking to these people!

I only wish I could have asked more about the transition back to Robin, if that was the producer's long term plan. Robin came back only a year after Carrie was let go.

LOVED Carrie as Skye. She was my favorite during 1996-1997. I partly watched AMC for her and would gladly take her back even though I grew to love Robin

She was great. Actually, AMC was a realy good time back then. I got sucked back into watching AMC (after a year of watching Days) because I was so intreagued by the Skye-mysterious girl on the bed storyline. It appeared very gothic to me at the time.

She was the first one who played Crazy Ali on Days, if i dont remember correctly, but was replaced by Lisa Linde!....

I doubt that decision had anything to do with AMC. JFP was just yet again hiring one her friends onto OLTL. Luckily her friend played someone popular on AMC so it wasn't so glaringly obvious what she was doing.

Oh man I wish I knew you were talking to her--there's a local BC Canada (I know he's from and lives here sometimes) series of lotto commercials featuring two "rich and snobby" characters and I'm SURE the female one is her--but I can't find any confirmation and it literally is driving me crazy lol. I've been asking on all her forums.

I do really miss her as Sky.

Great interview. I enjoyed her on AMC. I even named one of my stray cats "Skye" back in 1996 because I used to joke that she looked just like Carrie Genzel. Not in a bad way, but Carrie does have a soft feline look to her. I'm glad to read she had such a good time working on AMC -- especially since she was on during the last Golden Era -- the Lorraine Broderick years.

I'm glad she, Robin Mattson and La Lucci had as much fun as we did watching them together.

GREAT interview. I wish her luck.
