Tad and Dixie at the end brought tears to my eyes so I know I'm going to need a box of kleenex tomorrow when TIIC show what they cheated the fans out of and for which I will never forgive them for.

I've hated Greenlee since the first second she appeared. She has always been like this IMO. I'm relieved that finally some are finally seeing the light. :D

I loved Greens when she first came on. IMO her character has gotten worse over the years, and no matter how hard I try, my devotion to the character cannot blind me to the slanted writing and character propping that is taking place lately. I haven't enjoyed Greenlee since before she hooked up with Ryan - then add the Sabine recast and the stupid kidnapping story to the list, and she is just a cartoon these days. The stuff that comes out of her mouth and others (about her) is just unbelievable. Greenlee has always been selfish, yes, and she has always made a big scene, but when she used to do these things, the plot justifed it....i.e. Jack and Erica's non-wedding in 2003. She had every right to blow up then, though it was selfish, but she was wronged.

In this current storyline, she has no right to be throwing stones. She has a right to be pissed off, yes, but the writing is so out of whack - the build up, awful - basically AMC is saying that kidnapping and cheating are on par, and that kidnapping can be forgiven, but cheating during a moment of weakness, not. At least that's what it feels like I'm watching. Why oh Why can't Kenlee hate each other like normal people and get it over with. They are much more interesting at opposite ends of the soap, occasionally running into each other for a few brief minutes and bitching each other out. JMO.

Greenlee first came on when Agnes Nixon briefly returned as HW, and I thought Agnes was really trying to created a new Erica. She was a foil for sweet little Becka, another Agnes creation who frankly sucked (i think it proved that in 1970 you could have a heroine like Tara who was sweet and very bland but by 1998 or 1999 or whatever it just didn't work) and I think Scott?

I admit I'm still a fan of the character and if Rebecca stays on could see her becoming the new "Erica"--if the writing improves.

I'm sur ehe did consult and he's good with action stunt episodes but as for the comment " They liked his work so much that they offered him the job." They wer eyeing him WELL before that, we all know, and they ALWAYS say something like that...

BE as Greenlee? That would be a horrible casting decision. She looks about 10 years too old for the role, even if she isn't actually 10 years older than RB. They really should have just kept Sabine, sine RB made no difference in ratings and is more expensive.

    • I think Dani cares about her sister, but I agree with you. She's using this whole mess to be heard and make herself feel better. I wish Ted and Eva told her to fck off. I had to laugh when Dani commented on her and Anita confronting Ted. She acted as if they destroyed him. That's not what I saw. Dani has been dialed back from those first weeks, but I can't say she's likable. As long as she's throwing shade at Eva for her work as a hairstylist -- while ignoring that she did nothing except eat celery sticks and walk the runway -- she can kiss off. Barely tolerable, and Lindstrom is terrible in the role. I don't find him scary at all, and his money laundering plan is stupid as hell. I gagged when he texted Vanessa to ask if she was thinking about him. That's throw up time.   I just don't see how that makes Ashley any more interesting. And are we really asking for another storyline where a father connects with his adult daughter? I know there's no direct parallel to Eva's story, but come on. If you're in the minority, I'll join you. I have zero interest in any of that. -- I still fail to see Nicole and Vanessa as best friends. Nicole is grounded and stable and responsible, and Vanessa is not. It made more sense to have Dani and Vanessa being close. -- Ashley and Derek were actually OK today. I feel sorry for the actors, honestly, because they've been given nothing. It's crazy, because so much of the rest of the show is firing on all cylinders.
    • Same. But given how the writers like to have her have good moments and bad moments...and Dani has been background as of late...it's about time she had some bad moments.
    • I don’t even know why you responded to the bait.
    • I only watch for Sharon and she’s barely on. The only good thing going at the moment is Jack and Diane scenes and they’ve made Diane such a wuss lately which is making that unbearable to watch too
    • I feel like Earl Hamner and his crew brought in Richard* BECAUSE they knew almost right away that Robert Foxworth was so dull as Chase.  At any event, Richard, IMO, proved to be much more interesting as Angela's chief adversary. (*Or brought him back, depending on whether we're including the original "Vintage Years" pilot).
    • And it will also eventually air S2, which will air its finale in Canada this Thursday, May 15th! https://tvline.com/news/law-and-order-toronto-criminal-intent-season-1-2-the-cw-1235449356/ As an American that has managed to watch it in real time, it's very good. Frankly, I think it's the best of the L&O franchise as of now.
    • You are getting like me. It's getting to the point that without any Damian sightings...it's been the fashion that is holding my interest. And it should not be that way at all.
    • I don't mind Jan either. If anything, they could be using her more to get her daughter's POV. Not to mention her role as one of the Have-Nots.    I also don't mind the local talent. Just look at soaps that were in NY or the shows that film there, they always go for the local talent and we get to find new faves.
    • I'm not going to watch (because...well...that M-dude...lol) but knowing the history between Henry and Roger, I could see Henry wanting to enable Hart to stay independent of Roger. I could even see it as Henry having the last laugh at Roger. Roger hated "the Henry's" of the world, which basically meant anyone who had money and social prominence. Twice Roger swindled Henry out of a chunk of his fortune, so giving some to Hart, who hates his father, is a form of karma.
