Daniel & Chelsea were great today. I love Chelsea going after him and confronting him. I love these two. Rachel Melvin's new cut is fab. I also love the max & Nick storyline.

Sami & EJ were perfect. I lvoed the talks. I loved how she told him about what she did to austin. It all worked, IMHO. That kiss!

I agree. It does not seem the same since they came back. The first time we had the whole Harper Deveruax, Jack thing, and it was riveting. This time, I don't know if it was the whole amnesia, Stefano mind control thing, or what.

Time changes things. In the time Steve and Kayla were away, we had Jack and Jenn, Marlena return and sleep with John, Hope come back, and the list goes on. The big four are Marlena, John, Bo and Hope. There's room for Steve and Kayla on the canvas, but they need a standout story, quick. The chemistry is there, but I haven't seen it since the return.

Steve and Kayla are awesome as are Bope and Tanna .J&M are awful they have to keep Jawn the Pawn because J&M are so unrealistic and boring the Fab Four are Bope S&K IMHO.Ej needs to put Marlena in a coma like she did Stephano see how she likes it. Dan&Chelsea are a joke .Phillip and Morgan are my new favorites.

My Overall Views of The Moment-

Chelsea/Daniel- I know i am in the minority on this board, but i love them. I think part of the reason is because i do not seen them as a long term storyline and its sooo unexpected. I do think that RM & SC have a hot sexual chem between them, and i am loving the angst between Chelsea & Daniel.

Steph/Max/Nick- I hvae NO idea whats going on with max and the grants but i am intersted. I also have to admit that for the past few weeks Stax has really growen on me and i dont mind them together. I also wouldnt mind to see some steph/nick chem tests!

Nicole/Ej/Sami/Lucas- I am loving the ejami stuff. The talks they had on friday and monday both were so well done. i felt theya dressed everything and sami telling ej how she raped austin thinking it would make him relize he loved her and forgiving ej for what happened was some great stuff. the passion and chem between JS & AS is amazing.

Jawn/Marlena - ugh. why did they bring Jawn back from the dead?

Steve/Kayla... the most boring annoying couple on the show.

Bo/Hope - for the first time i like them. I cant wait to see them deal with Chelsea & Daniel.

Morgan/Philip/Chloe - chloe/philip bore me to death almost. JKJ & NB do not have the same chem thye had in 00-01. I do however love thew idea of Morgan and Philip. I think they could be great nad have conflict because of her dad. I am also intersted in philip having johns memories.

Ava- Now that we know the truth i cant wait to see what they do with Ava

Let me ask you JP, what would you have done with Marlena instead of bringing John back? Would you have had her alone and fighting Stefano on her own, would you have paired her with someone? I'm interested because sometimes (mostly since Dena returned), I feel the same way. Of course, then I see Deidre and Drake doing that magic thing they do and I'm hooked on J&M all over again, but I would have waited to bring him back.

Killing John was hand down the BEST thing to happen to Marlena... perhaps ever. Since the late 90's there was no Marlena. Only John&Marlena. There was even a John on his own, but her char was ALL about him. Then he died and BAM! Here was this scorned hurt bitter angry woman yet still a warm loving mother to her daughters. Dee rocked it.

I would have mkept stefano out of his coma and let them go at it. Let her go after him, and honestly in the end do what she did (because what better thing than to have marlena put stefano is a fake coma?!)

After that i would have her working and just jump into that. still never dealing with the fact thats lost john.

and after showing that fir a bit id kill mickey Horton off. Have Maggie lean on her friend 'what do i do without him?' 'he was my life' 'who0 am i without him?' type questions. during helpinmg her friend deal with losing mickey marlena then relizses she hasnt delt with losing john and starts to deal with it.

all the above would play out over 8-10 months or so. we would also see her with her friends and her daughters and whatnot. then after she has started to accept john is gone... Don Craig moves back to salem.

Wow. I am just... wow. Because I would have loved to see this play out.

The scenes when Marlena confronted Stefano... she was such a force to be reckoned with. For the first time in ages. Stefano was scared of her -- and completely turned on. She had always been the One Who Got Away. I would have totally got behind a Marlena vs. Stefano smackdown.

That whole period felt like Days was beginning an exciting new chapter. Like it was finally letting JER and the 90s go, seven years too late.

And bringing Suzanne Rogers to the forefront... and Don! I mean CC Capwell! I mean Don! Very interesting.

*sigh* Oh well. At least Days is pretty entertaining at the moment. Ejami is swoonsome, even though I didn't want it to be! I think I've fallen in lust with James Scott. And Jay Kenneth Johnson. ROWL.

Watching DOOL made me want to throw up last night.

It was a disgusting display yesterday.

The only silver lining was that we got to see Mickey & Maggie.

Well, that's a great scenario JP. I would have had Stefano found out that Marlena shot EJ and pressured her to marry him or he would hurt her family. She would do it and use it to make him miserable.

I agree though. I found that Marlena doing that to Stefano was justified. He did that to her, unprovoked. She did that to him because he was a threat to her family. Not right, but understandable.

Personally, I would have brought Craig back. Let them become friends again and slowly start to feel something more when Stefano gives her hope that John might be alive. So then the question becomes... does she take that hope and possibly having her heart break all over again or does she move on with Craig? I would have had Marlena search for John, obviously, it's what would be in character. But no disc involved.
