Dallas was great up until the infamous "dream season". The show never really recovered after that. There were some highlights the last few years, I did enjoy April for instance, but Bobby's death and resurrection was the beginning of the end.

I don't remember the infamous shower scene, but my mom vividly remembers watching it when it first aired. She said that was the most anti-climactic scene she'd ever seen on TV. Next to Geraldo and the vault, that is. LOL

My godmother and her husband, both high school teachers, hosted a foreign exchange student one year when Dallas was at its peak. The girl, from Spain, was so excited about the prospect of coming to America because she thought all Americans were like the Ewings. LOL

Here is a quick film clip of Victoria Principal from 1969. She appears at 49-50 and is referred to as Princess Vicki

I ran across another early clip of Victoria. This Dentyne Commercial appears to be in the 1968-1970 time period.
