OK, so I don't know too much about the soaps I don't watch, but the ones I do seem to have a few patterns that they repeat over and over and over again. For example:

BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Of COURSE there is a triangle going on!

DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Of COURSE he/she came back from the dead!

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Of COURSE someone got shot!

Those patterns could be with something good or bad! What are others?

B&B: OF COURSE there are no gay men in the fashion world!

Guiding Light: OF COURSE Ellen Wheeler and David Kreizman are pulling ideas out of their asses.

OF COURSE the Pine Valley Police Department is clueless, useless and dumb as a box of hair so everyone goes to Tad and Ryan to solve crimes.

OF COURSE whenever danger arrives in Pine Valley, characters who can barely afford to live in the Pine Cone Motel seem to miraculously crap enough money to pay for 24/7 bodyguards -- or as they call them, "men."

GENERAL HOSPITAL

OF COURSE when there's an explosion, crash, shootout or some other high budget stunt/special effect, Sonny's always involved and Jason saves the day.

OF COURSE Laura Wright's Carly will never be cut down to size and will say the most vile, vulgar, disgusting things -- and still be viewed as the heroine of the show.

OF COURSE every new woman that comes to town falls under Sonny Corinthos' spell and suddenly will sell their mother, children and a couple of old women from a senior citizen's center into white slavery just to have the chance to be impregnated by him

OF COURSE any storyline with Luke is not worth an emotional investment because Luke will undoubtedly steal something, mistakenly murder somebody or kidnap the Wig in a Rocking Chair and have to go on the run for six months just so Tony Geary can go to Amsterdam... and every character on the show will act like this is such a shock, as if it doesn't happen every two months and we'll have to watch Lulu whine, shriek and bitch about how Luke never wanted her.

OF COURSE Sam will use her miscarriage from 2004 as justification for every shitty thing she's ever done since then. And that's ridiculous because...

OF COURSE any woman on this show who gets pregnant will miscarry before the end of her first trimester... so it ain't nothing special!

AMC: OF COURSE St. Ryan has to come save the day all the time

OF COURSE Erica has to never say "Grandma" or "Grandchild"
