It was Kirk Cranston's baby so we were grateful, sad as that may be. But the last thing Eden needed was a baby tying her to that nutjob forever.

There aren't a whole lot of Elena clips (you're likelier to find clips of the trial for her murder) but you should look up those clips. Sherilyn Wolter should have stayed on SB for years to come, as she was Eden's most formidable rival. Man she was a bitch. You should see some of the horrible things she said to Eden while she was confined to a wheelchair, which is why it was disappointing that by the time Eden could walk, Elena was dead.

Carl- there's a set of clips up where Mason tries to pull a fast one on Eden while she's in Hawaii. Watch those clips. They are super entertaining.

Also, capwellgirl has a set of clips entitled "The Family Plan." It's the sequence where CC fakes his death so the family can have a memorial service and sneak Kelly into the house. You MUST watch those. Hilarious stuff and it comes from my favorite SB storyline of all-time- Gina and the Tape.

It was a GREAT storyline. Tori was Cruz's ex-girlfriend who had just returned to town with boyfriend Martin Ellis, having become a Hollywood actress. Years ago, Cruz's then-girlfriend, Katie Timmons (Keith's sister), was jealous of Cruz & Tori and ran into the ocean too deep. Katie was struggling out there but Tori claimed she was a strong swimmer and would be fine. After Cruz went for help, Tori looked on as Katie began to drown. Tori did nothing to help her and just let her drown out there. By the time Cruz came back, Katie had drowned. Cruz helped Tori cover up the fact that Tori had witnessed the whole thing and did nothing to help Katie. Years later, Keith blamed Cruz for Katie's death, when really, it was Tori's fault- Cruz had just helped her keep it quiet over the years.

When Tori came back, Eden figured out there was a secret she & Cruz were sharing and Cruz came clean with her. Eden even understood Keith's anger at first and sort of took his side, as he had lost his sister because of this. But Keith had held the grudge against Cruz all these years and was tormenting him, so Eden was trying to get Tori to come clean with Keith and tell him the truth about what had happened. Tori was frightened of what Keith would do to her, even possibly press charges, so she wanted to wait before revealing it so she could figure out exactly what she was gonna say. Cruz understood this, as he knew Keith and how intimidating he could be and how Tori might react around him, whereas Eden didn't. At this point, Eden runs out into the ocean to feign drowning to test Tori, just to see if Tori would come out and help her like she didn't do for Katie. It works (sort of ) and Tori runs out and saves her, swimming her to shore (Eden really does end up starting to drown). When Eden comes to, she sees Cruz comforting Tori, as the whole thing has reminded her of the incident with Katie and is jealous. There are some powerful scenes on youtube of Eden in the hospital telling Cruz what she saw when she came to. Marcy Walker is AMAZING in those clips.

Anyhow, that's the jist of the storyline and it was also the basis of the Cruz/Keith rivalry and Keith's hatred for Cruz and why he always went after Cruz over the years.

Thanks SO MUCH for posting this clip, as I've only seen it in French on youtube. SO nice to finally see it in English!!!

That's an incredible scene. The music is superb, and Marcy is at her best. She is such a direct, forceful actress, but always with the vulnerability within reach. So many layers. I can remember now why, even though I rarely watched SB at the time it was on, I had strong memories of Eden.

I was reading yesterday that when SB started, Lynn Herring auditioned to play Kelly. How do you think she would have been?

Just couple of months ago. I'm so saddened right now.
    • I wasn't expecting this. Leslie was the first character I saw on GH when I started watching.

    • Thanks @Paul Raven . I love that she even drew up a petition. A shame she didn't get to finish out that storyline, although it seemed to become a mess anyway.
    • It's funny to think one of the only later mentions of Justin/Sarah was in The Guiding Plight. They had some decent chemistry in the 1976 episode put out on DVD.
    • Very. They're building up his story again and picking the perfect time to do so. As the SilkPress storyline climaxes and go off in several great directions, they are building up that story to take a turn.

    • @Soapsuds Thanks for posting Night by night Mon 8pm The Rookies edged Gunsmoke but attracted younger(more desirable) viewers.NBC failed with Born Free/Smothers Brothers (how many different series did those 2 get??) 9-11pm  Maude/Rhoda/Medical Center dominated on CBS,but Football and Movies were competitive on an occasional basis. ABC tried  SWAT/Caribe later in the season and the former worked for them. Tues 8-11 pm CBS all the way Good Times, MASH, Hawaii Five O,Barnaby Jones. NBC had the fading Adam 12,Movie and Police Story mmm...don't see that listed? ABC Happy Days, which ABC decided to keep despite lackluster ratings, the Movie of the Week and Marcus Welby-once pulling big numbers but no longer. 8pm NBC had a new hit with Little House, easily beating Sons and Daughters, which was axed and replaced with Tony Orlando, which did much better. ABC had That's My Mama and the Wed movie. 9pm Cannon was the lead here as Lucas Tanner failed to capitalize on the LHOTP leadin. ABC continued the movie. 10pm Manhunter started strong for CBS but petered out and was cancelled. Petrocelli manged to beat Get Christie Love, which was replaced by Baretta-no ratings winner but ABC decided to renew. Thurs Another CBS night with The Waltons and a movie. ABC counterprogrammed with Odd Couple/Paper Moon then Barney Miller/Karen NBC did even worse with Sierra and replaced it with Mac Davis which improved ratings quite a bit. However, it was moved to 9pm for Sunshine/Bob Crane 9pm Some good numbers for ABC with Streets of San Francisco fending off Ironside,Archer and Mac Davis. 10pm Harry O had a slim victory over Movin On Fri 8-11 NBCs best night Sanford/Chico/Rockford/Police Woman. 8pm CBS had high hopes for Planet of the Apes but it bombed. Replacement Khan did even worse. Paul Sand and We'll Get By were tossed in at the end of the season. With poor lead ins the Friday movie didn't deliver. ABC's odd line up saw Kodiak flop, Six Million dollar Man struggle and Texas Wheelers  quickly cancelled. Kung Fu was brought in @8 and Six Million moved to 9. Then Kolchak took over at 8 and Hot*l Baltimore/Odd Couple 9-10. Despite controversy Hot*l flopped. 10pm ABC tried Kolchak then Baretta and finally Get Christie Love Sat CBS lead  with #1 AITF then Paul Sand/MTM/Bob Newhart/Carol Burnett. Paul Sand lost too much of the lead in so CBS spun off The Jeffersons and it was a smash. NBC did OK with Emergency (which beat Paul Sand on occasion, thus hastening that show's demise) and a movie. ABC was a disaster with New Land/Kung Fu and Nakia all failing. They introduced a movie @9 and moved Kung Fu to 8. Sun  NBC  with Disney and Mystery Movie (Columbo McCloud, MacMillan and Wife/Amy Prentiss)did well. ABC flopped with Sonny Bono and recovered by moving Six Million Dollar Man from Fri as a lead in to the movie. CBS hoped Apples Way would be another Waltons but no, so Cher did what Sonny couldn't. Kojak and Mannix successfully finished out the night. Two other shows on the ratings list were Adams of Eagle Lake starring Andy Griffith. Only 2 episodes aired and did well, so I'm not sure what happened there. As for The Law it was a series follow up to a 2 and a half hour NBC special movie .
