And really, people are blaming GH's sinking ratings on the CGI? It has nothing to do with the fact that is one of the worst things on tv today? that most fans have lost the emotional connection? that no one cares about anything over there anymore? No, it cant be any of that. It is all def the CGI fault.

Methinks people are in a huff over nothing.

GL, while not perfect, is slowly improving in some areas. I still don't like DK's tendencies to create couples by throwing darts at the dartboard and seeing what sticks, but the show appears very interested in the feedback from this production method.

Michael Logan is the BEST at reporting on soaps! He, delacroix and mimi torchin are the only ones worth taking seriously. People try as the might to copy his writing style, but Logan's columns are a must read for soap fans.

marlena, torchin and michael logan are THE triumvirate. i just love logan's columns. always a must read, even his old stuff you can look for online.

Re GL: Nothing new. GL resembles a cheap adult flick these days with their production values. The writing doesn't help, but only adds to the mess.

GH's CGI effects were stupid. Certain parts were impressive, but at times it was SO obvious they were using CGI.

I agree with him about DAYS. Can anyone imagine if Wyman had directed the plane crash? We would have gotten a freeze frame at the end with sparkles and all that other glitery crap, and background music that would have come from porn.
