Vail Bloom (Heather) reportly taped her final scenes with the show two weeks ago and the show has already found a replacement. Word on the street is that Lindsey Mckeon (Ex Marah, GL) has been secretly taping scenes with the show. Expect a huge Annoucement real soon.

Now my opinion, Heather is boring so why recast a boring character?? On the other hand, Vail and Lindsey do look alike.

TVGC said several hair models are out, so this is just the first step. I say a good casting choice for a change! Lindsay is a good actress and has proven she can act.

Colleen needs to be recast or written out as well.

I hear a Colleen recast is on the way, it was just a toss-up who they'd recast first - Colleen or Heather. Nelson Branco did also say a few were going to be recast this year.

Although Y&R needs more Abbotts, since Colleen is the only blood Abbott on the show other than Jack, they haven't been using Colleen at all for months. She's just a prop for Lily, I wouldn't be sad to see her written out.

Perfect! Vail Bloom was effing awful, she ruined every damn scene she was in, don't let the door hit you on the way out I say! Lindsay McKeon was really good on GL and she held her own against Kim Zimmer and racked up 2 Emmy nods. I welcome her to the show with open arms.

Now they just need to recast Colleen, fire Eyal Podell, bring back some more Abbotts and Diane Jenkins (as played by Alex Donnelly)

I should also add that SOD is reporting Victoria Rowell is in negotiations with Y&R to come back as well.

We're also suppose to be getting some returns this year to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the show. I hope the fiercely talented Tricia Cast is one of those coming back...

Tricia Cast would be my ultimate return, but you guys are forgetting something major...She's mainly connected to Jill and the writers (even the new ones) have shown no interest in Jill. Nina's best friend is gone as well. Victoria is a pod person. How will they explain Nina being so much older than Cane? Or Phillip IV's age, especially since they'll be stupid and SORAS him to 30 like Victor Jr.

Nina's return is just a fantasy in my mind. I would never truly get my hopes up for it. Same for Jill getting another good story.

My ideal story would be Nina coming back to town and discovering what a fraud Cane is and she proceeds to rub it in Jill's face. They can ignore the age difference for all I care, I just want Nina back!

We'll never get Tricia Cast back if Jack Smith returns. Remember when he told her a few years back that she "wasn't needed" when she visited the Y&R set? I do know Tricia has a very good friendship with Jess Walton, Jeanne Cooper, Michelle Stafford, Christian LeBlanc, and others. Jess did say in her recent interview that she would love to have Tricia Cast and Nina back on the show. Hopefully some of the actors can vouch for her.

Who knows? Nina and Cane could even be hot! By proving Cane a fraud they could easily overlook the age difference, but they love Cane too much to do that. I'm sure they'll leave that stinker in the past.
