She was THE show in 2006 and the earlier part of 07. The once she was revealed to be alive after the Satin Slayer she just had what was going on at Fusion and was a supporting player to Krystal and Adam's storyline.

2006 was a horse race between Havins' Babe and Minshews' Kendell they both had strong storylines and shockingly enough even when Kendell was in a COMA she was still the most featured character on the show. It wasn't until Zendell's haitus in October that Babe started to accumulate enough episodes to usurp Kendell Hart Slaters reign of domination (at that point it was 4 consecutive years at no.1, she totals up to 5 since her debut). Babe's triangle between Josh and JR was the storyline that gave her the ammunition to be no.1 in 2006 that triangle was written heavily and was also the main sweeps story in Nov.

But one could also argue that the main reason Babe was given such heavy coverage was due to the abscence of Greenlee. They needed a starlet to fill that viod and the one that was up was emmy nominated actress Alexa Havins. They needed to fill something in and they chose Alexa.

However even though Havins' won the 2006 spot airtime wise it was by a very slim margin (a grand total of one episode).

Yep 2006 was Kendall and Babe and I agree that Babe filled Greenlee's void. 2008 is already shaping up to be a horse race right to the finish line between Kendall and Greenlee once again.....

I think it was quite clear that the writers have thier favorites and Babe is only one of many.

2003: Bianca/Kendell

2004: Bianca/Kendell

2005: Greenlee/Kendell

2006: Babe/Kendell

2007: Babe/Kendell

2008:Greenlee/Kendell

But I will give them one thing, that was back when the Kendall/Ryan/Greenlee triangle was still tolerable and actually quite fun

I do not know if I would consider it a good triangle from that moment...I do not really think I liked it at all

Yep 2006 had a lot of her in it with the JR/Babe/Josh triangle and then at the end with the Satin Slayer

considering Lianca was one of the first things McTavish took a hatchet to back in the summer of 2003 after her return.

Yep as much as I did like most of McTavish's third stint, I did not really care for how she seemed to put Lianca on the backburner and not really write for them. It seemed as if she felt forced to put them together for some episodes but overall it was pretty much scrapped. I liked Lianca but I also liked BAM

That is what it looks like, which I do not mind since I like both characters...but if they reunite Rylee, odds are I will not like Greenlee

I agree, IMO that was one of AMC's worst triangles, I found nothing likeable or rootable about it in any way. Love triangles are supposed to make you want to root for both characters to win, not for two parts of the triangle to be pushed off a cliff, and the other part of the triangle to be the one to do it ;)

Yea it is down there with Jack/Erica/Mike as one of the worst triangles...my favorite AMC triangle is Leo/Greenlee/Jake since both couples (Leo/Greenlee, Jake/Greenlee) oozed with chemistry.

Brooke/Adam/Dixie is another goodie but before my time

AMC has not done a decent love triangle in years. I am having a hard time trying to remember one.... I guess Ryan/Gillian/Jake was good..... in a way. Better than what we have now.

Brooke/Adam/Krystal had the set up to be an amazing love triangle. MMT just dropped the ball after Christmas 2004. Actually, I'll give her credit through until July 2005, because the Dragon story set up and all the returning verterans at the time had be very optimistic. I think the Mardi Gras Ballw as her last hoorah.

Eh, the tail end of the Ry/Ken/Greens triangle was beyond lame, especially when Kendall became an obsessive shrew who was too stupid to realize that she was wasting her time with Ryan and Greenlee and that she could have done better than the both of them. I enjoyed it mainly in 2003, when the romantic feelings were more subtle. It was right before I jumped onto the I-Really-Really-Can-Not-Stand-the-Sound-of-Kendall-Hart's-Stinking-Voice train, of which I have been a proud member for over 4 years now. But I loved her and Ryan in the 2003 Christmas episode, and that's the way I liked their triangle. It was obvious that Ryan and Kendall had more of a shot and that Greenlee was using Ryan as some sort of interim between grossgrossgross Juan Pablo and someone else. But [!@#$%^&*], McTavish managed to ruin her own damn story.
