Jesse Soffer and Jennifer Landon (Will and Gwen Munson):

Astute "Grapevine" readers caught a blind item about these high profile exits way back in September - two-time Emmy-winner Landon (who first appeared in March 2005) and two time Emmy nominees Soffer (who joined in September 2004) are leaving when their contracts are up, and have made no secret of their decisions behind the scenes. At press time, the popular young stars were still taping and will likely last air in late March. A spokesperson had no comment.

There are spoilers out there where Gwen tells Will she wants to leave Oakdale.

Who really knows... they may have simply wanted to move forward....whatever the case is, they are moving on and i wish them nothing but the best....

I doubt their leaving has anything to do with story. They made their decision a long time ago to leave and pursue other things. And I'm sure when that decision became public is when they started to see less airtime. They're basically lame ducks at this point lol. I'm thinking this story is to basically give them a happy ending.

I wish them both well and think we will be hearing more of both of them.

Oh I am sure that their decision to leave was based more so on the fact that they want to do other things. I had just wodnered becuase of the one line in the tidbit there.

It's a shame two very talented actors want to leave the show, but I wish them both all the best.
