Tamara Braun joins DAYS?

She's not bad. She grew a lot on GH and outgrew the show and the mob. She's no Sarah Brown, but she's a pretty good soap actress and I grew to like her. Days could use someone like her. Unfortunately, Higley is there.

This could be amazing if done right. And right now everything on Days is right. Who's to say someone from salems past isnt the same woman from steves past? this woman could be a ex lover, someone who helped stefano, or someone like celeste that yes did help stefano but also felt for the prisoner.

Hopefully this will help days merge the cast all together. every age group is pretty much kept to themselves. the young 20's (max, steph etc..) the mid 20's (belle & co) the late 20's/early 30's (sami & her men) .. then the 40's (hobo, payla, jarlena, tony/anna, etc...) then the older that we never see (maggie, victor, caroline, shawn).

I can see Tams & SN working well together and im sure MBE & TB will be amazing in a cat fight. But Tams could also sizzle with James Scott and spar with Ali well.

only time will tell.

but for the first time in a long time i can say i wont miss a Days.

Fan favorite Tamara Braun, who played GH's Carly from 2001-2005, has joined the cast of DAYS OF OUR LIVES in the role of Ava, a woman from Steve’s past. She will first air February 8. "She sounds very layered and complicated and it seems like there's a lot to sink my teeth into," she tells Digest of her new role.

My happiness for Tams joining DAYS has been totally destroyed by the fact that Martha and Brandon are out. They've been front and center for so long now and I cant help but feel that Tamara and Shirley Jones' arrivals have something to do with their firings.

Pointless, pointless, pointless. Why cast some big name to only stick around for a short stint that means a story will be totally rushed and have no real outcome, when there are plenty of actresses in that age range who would kill for a long term story (hell, put Suzanne Rogers in a wig and call her Colleen for crying out loud).
