Ed Scott has seriously been a blessing to the show..In the past action scenes were so laughable, but these abduction/rescue scenes were very well done....There was so much intensity in the scene where Rob got Claire, and Belle fell into the water..I can't decide who the performer of the episode was because so many: Jay, Martha, Drake and Deidre all rocked...Belle going into cardiac arrest was a shock (well it would have been had i not read Kenny's post!!!), and i truly believe that Phillip does love Belle..especially after today..

Crystal and Rob were once again great..This just keeps getting better and better..and finally the John and Marlena scenes were brilliant....I especially liked Marlena introducing herself as Doc, and also the scene when John realized she was a doctor...Also the scenes with the pictures was heart wrenching..Its been years since Drake and Deidre both had a story they could really sink their teeth into (probably the serial killer story), and they are just doing a wonderful job..

Can't wait for tomorrows show..And i'm happy Hope has makeup on again..Also can't wait for Belle to see her "daddy"...

My favorite part? John's reaction to marrying a shrink. That entire hospital scene was exactly what the Alex North story should have been. Determined, but understanding.

Whoever is writing this stuff, be it Hogan's or Dena's crew or the scabs are doing a tremendous job..This is the john and marlena i love, not the lovey dovey letter reading pods we had over the summer..

Wow, everything and everyone was on top today... again! Since I don't read episode spoilers anymore it's so exiting watching. It's indeed like the old days.

The J&M stuff rocked and I loved this part:

John: What are you doing?!

Marlena: It's Doc

John: What's Doc?!

Marlena: You called me Doc

John: Why...

Marlena: I've missed you so much

And then the look on John's face. He wants to get out of the hospital, and at the same time he's annoyed and a liiitle bit curious about who Marlena really is.

The pier scenes were great too. The death scene was fab, Jay was so good! For a moment there I almost thought they were gonna keep Belle dead. I guess that's what you get from not reading ep. spoilers. Awesome feeling.

Looking forward to the next episode when I get home.

(Ohh, and Ed Scott is a huge part of the ones saving this show!)

I FLOVE this show now. Its been years and years since I've watched a whole month without fast forwarding once. Even when I was in awe over Carrie back in Christie's heyday, I pretty much skipped most everything else.

John and Marlena today were beyond brilliant. Drake actually CAN act. I'm freakin' shocked. And MM just astounds me more and more every day. This is definitely an Emmy reel episode for the Best Drama category.

It feels so good to be able to watch the show with joy in my heart and to have the eager anticipation of the next day's chapter.

Thank you Ed Scott. Thank you Hogan Sheffer. And if Dena is writing the show as of now, kudos to her. And those three words, my friends, I NEVER thought I'd think, let alone write.

Another great show. The thing I am finding is it is all around consistently good - not just a few scenes or characters good - but the whole show. I am puzzled regarding the writing though. One day the credits list the entire pre-strike writing staff and then the next day it is a different staff (or at least some are missing) and then another day the entire staff again. Confusing, but I don't care since the writing is great right now. Keep it up.
