Todays show recieves an A from me, I was at the edge of my seat!

Now I officially know Marcie is wacked out for witholding Viki's heart medication. Kathy Brier is doing a fab job. The final scene with Marcie, Michael, and Tommy(Sam) was so sad. ES is also doing a great job, she really looked ill!!

The suspense with Gigi on the television talking about Todd and then Ramsey threatens her AGAIN that he will harm Shane, was so crazzzzzzzzzzy, Ramsey is a LOON!

FLOVED how Rex calls out "Morasco" when he sees Gigi on television! Bye bye Adrianna! ;) So, now Rex knows Gigi is a single mother! It would have been PERFECT if Shane popped into that camera  Can't wait for tomorrow because you know Adrianna is going to give Rex crap about Gigi.

Roxxxxxxxxxy just got to love Roxxxxxxxxxy with her comments...."who the hell is Gigi?" and "That is one wacked out diner!" Just perfect!

Cliffhanger O RAMA = OLTL this week. Cliffhangers daily, now I wonder if they have any left for FRIDAY! :P

I LMAO when Roxy said that.

I also like how OLTL is poking fun at the media surrounding the hostage situation too. I remember one reporter mentioning that the secret to Mo's pies were in its Graham cracker crust! It was random but funny.

Loving the humor on the show these days.

This week has been one of the least fast forward worthy since Carlivati began! I love the way they've integrated Paris and Llanview and this week is taking that to new levels. Kathy Brier is doing amazing work opposite Erika Slezak. And it's official--nuMichael is perfect! Guy has amazing chemistry with Marcie and John so he's a keeper.

Love the mystery surrounding Rex's past, although I hope he remains Roxy's son. I wouldn't mind Nantalie being Roxy's as well so we'd have a full Balsom family. I never liked that Jessica was Mitch's daughter.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the lack of Cole, Star and Langston. Actually, the latter two seem downright tolerable without Cole and Markko stinking up the joint.

I agree, and where I have some nervousness about what Tomlin alone will do, I think he will at least keep the level of fun RC has been bringing (sometimes at the cost of the story). DH seemed bent on finding anything likeable, and warping it beyond recognition (from Mrs. Bigelow to David Vickers) if not obliterate it (anyone think IK would be seen?) RC was putting as much of it back as he could, and Tomlin may even increase it.

I miss Langston and Markko---I love that Langston is a Cramer (as it should be)

It's been up and down for me watching---good drama but I sooooooo still stopped caring about the damn baby a while ago. At least it doesn't bite like Dena Higley's stuff did

    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archivedcopy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
    • Question: Jon-Michael Reed's review of 1977 is up in the retro soap section.  It includes a fleeting reference to comedic scenes between Jeanne Cooper and Julianna McCarthy regarding “Kay's would-be beau, Ralph the Plumber”.  Could someone please fill me in will more details? I forgot that Kay and Liz were friendly before Jill stole Kay's husband.  And the thought of Liz playing a comedic scene blows my mind, because I only recall her being dour both in demeanor and wardrobe.
    • I said this on Twitter on Friday when Leslie mentioned Chicago, so perhaps she might be related to one of Anita's bandmates. In addition, Leslie did say she grew up listening to The Articulettes too.
    • There was a scene in the past week or two with Leslie looking at some papers and mementos, which included an invitation or souvenir from Alan's memorial service or funeral -- it was dated as November 2024. Me just guessing but it seems to me that Martin's nightmares about the accident are from something longer ago than November.
    • ah thanks! do you know who the third one was in the blonde? the fifth one i know ive seen before in the brown wig but i forgot, and then ive never seen the psychic one before lol
    • I felt for Ted early on but as the story unfolded it has changed my opinion on him. To know he was cheating while his wife was struggling to give him a baby is a lot to deal with. Plus, this happened ages ago and still he's paying Leslie off and threatening her to leave town.  What really caused me to lose him in this episode was how even though he was busted, he still refused to take responsibility and come clean and the way he talked to Martin and Eva was terrible. To tell Smitty he better get Martin away from him when that is his SON who he used to cover up his affair? That is true dog behavior. Ted seems upset he got caught but I'm not seeing the remorse I would need to want Nicole to forgive him. I'm curious how I'll feel after Ted gets to talk to Nicole but I need him to fix it with the rest of the family as well.
    • I'm sorry. I well remember Jake doing Doris but I have no independent memory of the story around it.  Krystle with a K Lake, sure, both Tony the Tuna stories & NOT.  And, Jake also impersonated a woman named Bunny Eberhardt but he didn't know she was a woman so there was no drag. This weekend I re-watched Kevin & Mac, GH, and my strong impression is exactly what it was when I watched it in real time: They did not let them look very pretty. Of course, I think the best ever drag on GH was Alexis posing as the Q butler.  In a different use of drag at AW one Halloween, Jensen Buchanan went as Charlie Chaplin & Judi Evans went as, I think, a male gypsy.
