I also heard Rush Limbaugh say that the black community is so stupid, we will follow whoever and forgive anything by November.

Thats the biggest load of crap I've ever heard, how does this man keep getting jobs in television and radio? The black community only shares one thing in common and that is that our skin color is black. We have are own brains and ideas just like any other race. This is why I don't like people like jesse jackson, al sharpton, and rev wright, when they go on these talk shows they give the impression that they speak for the black community and that we all think alike, sorry but that is far from the truth and they don't represent me. I'm my own person and no one will ever tell me how to think and act. The most insulting thing I've heard in this democratic race is that all the black people are voting for obama just because he's black, is obama not qualified just as hillary is, therefore why wouldn't people vote for obama? Black people alone cannot make obama president he is getting votes from people of all races.

 Most definitely. It's the GOP's propaganda channel.

I just laugh at faux news when they keep saying that Bush's presidency wasn't completely a screw up. They actually tried to point out today that bush increased jobs in the U.S and the econmy was better in the bush years. My eyes almost popped out of my sockets when they said that, my mom has lost two jobs during the bush years because of the bad econmony and I have had several family members lose jobs also.

Now Erica, you know this is the same man who tried to smuggle Viagra through a airport, lost his hearing because he took 30 Oxycontin a day, and went doctor shopping.

He says whatever gets him listeners, and some are too lazy to truly find out the turth for themselves so they rely on idiots like him and O'Reilly.

There is a reason why I call it Faux News rather than Fox...I should have said Faux instead of Fox when I typed up that bit ;)

Oh gosh what idiots they are. The economy is in a recession right now, he has barely created any jobs, many have been shipped overseas by corporations he gives tax breaks to and they use the saved money to invest in factories in Asia, plus he has traded many jobs down to Mexico via NAFTA

The economy was at its best during the FDR and Clinton years, not Dumbya

I do wish faux news would at least pretend to be something other than a Republican mouth piece. I really miss real news that didn't take the entertainment function to an extreme. My favorite faux news story was one dealing with the Bush Republican re-alignment. They talked about Karl Rove and how he had re-shaped America into a Republican country. I thought, yeah right. When Bush took office, the Republicans controlled the White House, both Houses of Congress and most state governerships. Now, Bush is in the White House and the rest has flipped. That is one hell of a re-alignment.

I think Bush will be remembered as one of our worst presidents.

I had several thoughts but I'll be serious and say that I believe that the media coined term "black community" is ridiculous. The intent behind it is to imply that black Americans are of one mind and that's how the media is able to present people like Jesse Jackson or Al Shartpton as black community leaders and imply that black Americans selected them to be such. (The same applies for other races of people and ethnic groups that have these labels, e.g, Mexicans, Asians). I think people need to reject that term. I use it jokingly with my friend now and then when we kid about planning a trip to the black community. The reality is that while there may be black people concentrated in certain neighborhoods and such, black people are scattered all over the nation and experience different economic situations and living conditions, etc. which cause them to have different concerns.

Al Sharpton seems to appeal to people who feel they're the victims of police abuse/judicial injustice. Not everyone can relate to these people and in some instances people have such varying impressions of what constitutes abuse or injustice that they can't even get on the same page. The one thing that I don't get about him is how he was even able to retain so much attention considering that the initial incident that brought him to national media attention turned out to be a false accusation and I don't even think he even apologized for it. People like him are able to make it because they appeal to people who don't or can't read for themselves and that's part of how people develop the misconception that there's a black community sharing a universal brain.

I know. They do it with the black community, the faith community, the gay community, the Catholic community, the Hispanic community. It's ridiculous.

 That's funny as hell in some ways, and in another way it really pisses me off that a channel masquerading as a news channel "reports" such bull as this.

I usually call it Faux News too. lol :P

Fixed News.

Fox Noise.

Faux News.

It's all the same tragically. And there are many who truly believe that Bush & Co. have done a spledid job with the country as a whole. They would be right.....

If you were a friend of theirs, involved in big business or happened to be a well off person. Other than that......they have screwed every working class and poor person in this country.

That's why if McCain gets in......I weep for our future.

Keep wishing because it just won't ever happen ;)

Bush will probably be remembered as the worst, not one of the worst. When I think of worst presidents, these men come to mind: James Buchanan, Warren Harding, Herbert Hoover, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Andrew Johnson, and George W. Bush

I would include Jimmy Carter in there but he is a great humanitarian and at least found something else to be brilliant at whereas the above never did.

I think the term black community is used to refer to all African Americans that make up the black community but, of course, not all of them share the same ideas, opinions, political affiliation, likes, dislikes, etc. They are unique in that each one has their own outlook on life but are part of a community that has a similar culture, history, traditions (like holidays such as Kwanzaa if I spelled it right). At least I hope that is what they portray the black community as and not make it out to be like they are all the same when there are differences in personal opinions and what not.

Heck they need to start a "non Gentleman" community because I belong to that one!
