Administrator Toups Posted November 5, 2008 Administrator Share Posted November 5, 2008 "We will get there." I need to hear that speech again. It was so inspiring and hopeful.
Members Cheap21
After 8 years of utter Bush crap, and the past few months of economic failure, recession and overall depressing tone in America, this all fills like a happy ending to all of that. It finally feels as if we have hope for a better future. Im so proud to be an American and I have so much more faith in that things will go up from here
Members Ryan
Let's just hope Obama is able to get some stuff done. I don't want to regret my vote. If he doesn't deliver we will mandate change in 012. Good Luck Obama!
Members Kubla Khan
With 99 % of the precincts reporting in North Carolina and Indiana, Obama has the lead. I know he's won, but this is incredible (he managed to steal Virginia and possibly Indiana after how many decades of faithful Republican voting). He's also very close in Montana and very very close in Missouri. Wow, what a night. What a landslide!
Members Ryan
Obama kicked McCain's ass. 338 -
Members Tishy
What a fantastic speech. One of the best speeches I have ever heard. I noticed Oprah, Jesse Jackson and I think I saw Dianne Wiest in the crowd. I wish I was there. I loved seeing Joe Biden's mother there and Obama's mother there. Our new President. Wow. Just Wow. Administrator Toups Posted November 5, 2008 Administrator Share Posted November 5, 2008 The thing about him is that I feel like he cares about EVERYONE, while Bush only cared about the rich.
Members Ryan
Bush is an asshat. His agenda for America was all wrong.
Members Tishy
Exactly. He was inclusive and not exclusive. When he says Yes We Can, it is everyone.

Administrator Toups Posted November 5, 2008 Administrator Share Posted November 5, 2008 Apparently someone from the group of people partying in front of the White House, had a sign that said, "Why Wait? Evict Bush now!"
