October 8, 200817 yr Member Ok can some one please correct me if I am wrong. But did McCain just say "Katie Thank you."
October 8, 200817 yr Member You all should go over to CNN. Bill Schneider is getting it handed to him over there for his post. He's making it sound like Obama is the one not answering questions and hasn't called McCain out once. Ok can some one please correct me if I am wrong. But did McCain just say "Katie Thank you." Who did he call Katie?
October 8, 200817 yr Member No clear winner, but McCain had to be a clear winner, he obviously isn't. Doubt this will do much to change the race.... if it is percieved through the "liberal media" that Obama won this thing, the negative dirty campaign will be going into high gear and that's sad.

So McCain looked at Putin and saw 3 letters KBG. Hmm I look at McCain and I see 3 letters as well but I won't say what they are. Edited October 8, 200817 yr by SnCCorinthos4ever

And that, my friends, will be the end of John McCain's campaign.
October 8, 200817 yr Member Lol Obama avoided that last question entirely. Yes, he did. But then again.......maybe what he was saying was that "who knows what will happen?" No one can predict the future, and the POTUS has to give the impression that he/she knows how to solve a problem when it arises. If he would have said "This is what I don't know....." Can you imagine the ads that would have been posted on tv tomorrow?

October 8, 200817 yr Member Can you imagine if he had bad breath? LO Freakin' L And, by the way, Tishy, I just noticed your slogan. Tell me, "What do you do when Bush rears his ugly head over the St. Lawrence?"
October 8, 200817 yr Member I thought the first debate was better. But I think Obama won the debate when McCain had too. Whenever McCain tried to joke, he failed miserably.
October 8, 200817 yr Member LOL, I know this is over if you're live, but I'm a bit behind on the Putin questions right now from putting my kids to bed. But, I love when Obama said, "Russia has engaged in evil behavior." It reminds me of when I say to my kids. "I still love you but I don't love your behavior right now."
October 8, 200817 yr Member The little ticker lines seem to be higher for McCain on these foreign policy questions comparably speaking. Are these really uncommitted Ohio voters? Because the lines for this 2nd debate have clearly indicated many are moving to Obama's side. It was much more evenly distributed for the first debate and the VP debate. I'll watch afterward to see the commentary from the undecided voters. (Soledad)

It was much more evenly distributed for the first debate and the VP debate. I think it was something like 7 registered Independents, 7 Repubs and 6 Demos. So the positive lines would show Obama has gained ground with registered independents. Edited October 8, 200817 yr by bandbfan
October 8, 200817 yr Member You know, there was nothing new in the debate tonight. McCain does not like Obama. Did they even shake hands or speak to one another after the debate? I'd give that debate a tie because there was nothing new.
October 8, 200817 yr Member There is a live vote here on who won the debate. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27072244?GT1=43001 Who won the presidential debate? * 86420 responses John McCain - 34% Barack Obama - 57% Tie - 3.3% Not sure - 5.8%
