Geez, I can't possibly keep up with this thread!!

So, in the interest of not being informed or current with the debate, I'll offer this:

Hi everyone. Nice to see you all... and it is nice to be in your presence. I am impressed with the knowledge of the issues, even the stuff I disagree with... Nice to be around an informed group with varying opinions and pleasant demeanors. It gives me hope.

OMG Casey! The picture of that American Flag is heartbreaking. It literally brings tears to my eyes as I think back, like I do every year, to where I was and what I was doing when I heard the news of the attacks. Some wounds never heal.

God Bless those victims and their families.

It is heartbreaking, isn't it? The picture has a very big impact. It puts the death toll in prespective for me.

I am loving that the negative ads have been pulled today, and the candidates are actually meeting one another.

That is what September 11th should be about, unity...

The unity is what I remember most about the weeks/months that followed 9/11. I have a few memories of being scared and uncertain, but I remember our country coming together, most of all. I was very proud of that! I just wish it would have lasted longer.

Palin is either new or fresh, she represents the same ideas as the current administration, but seems to want to hide that fact. She hasn't been attacked unfairly, there are plenty of negative facts about her that the public should know.

I think it is the case of the MSM being scared to be once again accused of sexism. If they say anything about her, people will blast them.

It is what they report and how they report it. That Hocky Mom crap and all the personal stuff, that has nothing to do with her record, is the crap they are focusing on.

The ones doing the real reporting are getting the job done. The others? Screw 'em.

But if it were Hilary that got the VP slot on Obama's ticket, the MSM would not be treating her with kid gloves. They have proven that during the primaries.
