Members Ryan
Hmmmm....that's a .34 increase for NBC in Daytime rank for total views in 18-49. Call me crazy, but that has to be good right?
Members Angela
S**t, huge DAYS jump there. Possibly a 2.2 or 2.3?
Members Juliajms
I think I'm going to try to get into Days. It sounds like a fun show. I can't believe ABCD is in third place. When will something be done?
Members PhoenixRising05
I bet Days did get a huge jump. The Christmas episode last year did extremely well the day after Christmas and we all know the J&M fans probably came back this year for the episode. Plus, Days likely did not count Tuesday's numbers in the ratings so I am thinking 2.2 or 2.3 in HH. I hope so.
Members jackal
Does this mean most or all of the soaps did the same or better?
Members Angela
Yeah, usually happens on Christmas week. Yeah, the press release read that all daytime programming were coded specials (not counted, right?) for Monday, Tuesday.
Members Y&RWorldTurner
Y&R and Days apparently got a huge bump, but GH clocked out a 1.5 in the 18-49 demo. I predict GH will probably be #4 in total viewers again and Days will probably take #5. The top 3 will be the same CBS soaps from last week... Members jackal
Thanks. for Y&R! It's one of my favorite soaps. Kudos to Edward Scott as well!!!
Members usetobeasoapfan
I can't help myself I can't stand Frons for his micromanagement, and Guza for his repetitive story telling! I foresee some new ABCD lows and I couldn't be happier! I hope the mouse ears, start sending out some pink slips
Members Soapsuds
Wow a +300,000 jump for Days in Total Viewers? OLTL went up +.2 in women 18-49. And Y&R picked up the +.3 they lost last week.
Members Y&RWorldTurner
Does Christmas week normally have a positive impact on the soaps?
Members Soapsuds
In the past it did. But recent years it has not. The bump usually occurs during and after New Years Day. I've got to admit Days has been good lately. But I didnt expect such a huge bump. I think it helps that a lot were off for the holidays.
