So am I to believe that AMC's Post-Strike writing staff is:

(unfortunately!)

James Harmon Brown

Barbara Esensten

Addie Walsh

Amanda L. Beall (dammit!)

Chip Hayes (crap!)

Jeff Beldner

Joanna Cohen

Michelle Patrick

Kate Hall

Rebecca Taylor (oy!)

Courtney Bugler (are you shittin' me?!)

Hope Harmel Smith (um, okay  )

Sans Marla Kanelos (thankfully) and Stephen Demorest (what a pity)?

I really like Beth Milstein at Y&R, I enjoyed her run at DAYS, I actually liked her interim period more than JER's entire second run and at least 50% of Sheffer's run. She respected the history and romances of that show. It's a gain for Y&R IMO.

However, will Maria trim the writing staff down? It's still WAY TOO BIG...

I hope she's smart to let many of Latham's friends go when their contract cycles expire. If the team is this big 6 months or so from now, I'll be pissed. LOL!

So, Demorest is gone from AMC? I wonder which soap he'll pop back on next...

I'm with Y&RWorldTurner, Beth Milstein is great and should be a great part of Y&R.

However, all the FOLML need to be canned (ie Stanley and Hamner) the writing team is beyond bloated. Time to swing the ax Maria!

Personally, if Maria and the Bells want to trim the writing team down and want to get rid of Latham's friends, then they're doing it the right way. No use to fire them now and still have to pay them and then find replacemenet writers that they also have to pay. That would be a stupid Corday-esque decision. The Bell's don't want to waste money as if it were water in that way. I really feel Maria will be cleaning house once contract cycles are up.

So I guess Latham hired Beth? Who knew she had it in her to hire someone with a decent reputation on soaps?

No, it was at B&B's site, Kay is still listed on the B&B episodes.

I figured since they updated Y&R's page, they would also update B&B's page. Y&R and B&B share the same viewer comment/e-mail address at CBS.com.

However, it looks like CBS hasn't updated the B&B credits page in over a year. The Y&R, ATWT, and GL credit pages all look recent though.

Yay for Beth joining Y&R! That's good news... but there are still a few LML 'friends' that need to leave. Time will tell...

I really hope B&E are the ones that are going to leave.

I would be sad if Stephen Demorest left.
