August 4, 200817 yr Member What were these demands? Are you telling me that a script writer, who doesn't even go to the studio (at least the NY ones, because I believe she's west coast base), who is new to ATWT/OLTL, is demanding stuff, and she's telling the EP/HW what she's going to do and how many shows she's going to write? Come on. Tell me that makes any sense. Toups, all I am telling you is what I was told, and that is that she had a diva type attitude with the powers that be. Like I said, you've got the sources.
August 4, 200817 yr Member That was Lisa Seidman, who should've been fired first. No no, i just checked; Marc Parent wrote the pre-Gala-episode (wed). Seidman wrote the horrific Gala-beginning (Thu)... And yes, she should have been fired like yesterday...
August 4, 200817 yr Member ^Oh, I misread your original post, I thought you meant the set-up for the Friday gala episode.
August 4, 200817 yr Author Administrator Toups, all I am telling you is what I was told, and that is that she had a diva type attitude with the powers that be. Like I said, you've got the sources. Well since you're the one who is making these accusations, I'd love to know what these demands are and how she's been acting like a diva to the EP/HWs. lol
August 5, 200817 yr Member an average scriptwriter speaks to the EP about once a year... at the emmy's. talks to the head writer once a week... on a conference call with 6 other writers. for about an hour. all other communication is done through the writers' asst and the editor. i'm not sure if any scriptwriter i know speaks to the higher ups more than that at least not regularly.

Come on. Tell me that makes any sense. OMG! Why is that so hard to believe? If Ford's been in the business for nearly 20 years, is it IMPOSSIBLE to believe she might have a slight ego as a lot of artists do? Damn, I work in a coffee house and people who only started there several months ago are already "demanding" vacations and prime morning shifts and weekends off and they haven't even made it a year with the coffee shop yet. It happens! I've also heard rumors that Ford's rather conservative and doesn't enjoy writing outside the box.
August 5, 200817 yr Author Administrator OMG! Why is that so hard to believe? Well, the reasons I posted.......and there's Soaplvr's post too. I'm sorry Jay, but I gotta call you out on this because it doesn't make any sense and because I know it's false. Jay, I have no reason to believe you with this type of information. I've also heard rumors that Ford's rather conservative That was something ChangedBySON lied/posted in 2007.....and well.....we all know how credible CBySON is.
August 5, 200817 yr Member Yup. And how come Toups didn't mention them? I guess they really must be not note-worthy. B&B is the soap I was talking about.
August 5, 200817 yr Member B&B is the soap I was talking about. Really? Two writers? B&B doesn't change their writers that much... or maybe I misunderstood.
August 5, 200817 yr Member Really? Two writers? B&B doesn't change their writers that much... or maybe I misunderstood. Yes. They are already in the credits, but obviously not as writers.
August 5, 200817 yr Member Yes. They are already in the credits, but obviously not as writers. I have lost this thread. Are we saying two writers IN, no writers OUT at B&B? And those two writers IN are already in the credits in other capacities? Is that the story?
August 5, 200817 yr Member And those two writers IN are already in the credits in other capacities? Is that the story? Yup.
August 5, 200817 yr Member Yup. Okay, let me see if I can narrow this down just a drop. (I don't even care, but blind items drive me crazy ). Per B&B website, this is the writer/producer subset. Popp Associate Producer: Casey Kasprzyk Coordinating Producer: Adam Dusevoir Associate Head Writers: Kay Alden, Michael Minnis, Jerry Birn Writers: Jack Smith, Tracey Ann Kelly, Patrick Mulcahey, Janice Ferri Esser, Elizabeth Snyder Directors: Michael Stich, Deveney Kelly, Cynthia J. August 5, 200817 yr Member The man is, the woman is not. Intriguing. When will we learn this information? Where?
