Forgot about Goutman and Corday.

Thanks!

Both of whom are long overdue for pink slips also. I always fear if JFP is let go from GH, Frons will swap her and JHC at AMC. :(

I say McTavish, Higley and Guza start their own soap with Ellen Wheeler and Chris Goutman as EP's, bring on Courtney Bulger, Amanda Beall and Elizabeth Korte as writers turn that into a hot mess of clustfeckery.

I doubt if Frons fires her at GH, she'd end up on another ABC soap.

Jill's done P&G soaps, ABC soaps, and SB for NBC. She probably has the most extensive profile of any current EP in daytime. The only thing left for her is a Sony/Bell soap, and since she knows Steve Kent, I fear they'll gladly fire Griffith for her if the opportunity arises.

Would we be in store for a serial killer and/or rapist and trim some of those lovely vets from the cast?

Lol, I like Amanda...but you can't deny she doesn't belong in that list.

I used to have "Friends for Amanda L. Beall" in my signature.....notice it's not there anymore ;)

As I said before, with Jill it depends with the writer that works on the shows she's EP of. She was obviously close to Charles Pratt at SB, and Nancy Curlee truly held her own at GL. It's when she has people like McTavish and other lower-level hacks working with her is the time one should worry.

Jill may be a control freak, but she does do certain production stuff well. If she's kept in balance and the writers are good, she's a great asset.

Sometimes I wonder if R Sinclair used to work with Amanda and she liked pissed in his cheerios or something. His dislike of that woman reigned (and still does) supreme!

    • Yes! I actually started typing something up the other day but ended up not posting. It pretty much said something to the effect of the show feeling like there were a lot of balls in the air, the stories almost felt aimless. I am sure most of these will come to a head soon enough. I also wondered if it had something to do with the changes behind the scenes, but these lulls between major moments truly kill the momentum.
    • Will concede it's moving along slowly, but I am still hinged on every word every second. I refuse to miss anything.  OTOH, I watch GH were things are moving along  little quicker, but I have to FF certain scenes because it's extremely repetitive, where I don't get that from BTG.
    • I am toggling between Apr ‘82 Kay and Nikki, and Aug ‘92 Kay and Nikki… and it is a jarring juxtaposition! Nikki has calcified into a Stepford Wife

    • I've watched the show faithfully since the premiere, but I've found that I've let myself fall behind the past few weeks. It sort of feels like nothing is happening again. Does anyone else feel the same way? I would think for November sweeps they'd be pulling out all the stops.
    • I didn't even watch but saw the recap. I can't believe Billy Flynn has been saddled with all of this. He so deserved better.
    • Vernon was spotted by the worst person possible. Leslie is definitely going to use that to her advantage somehow.
    • Yesss! I cackled when Dr. Walked told Leslie to Google him (check my credentials). What is Elon's issue with Izaiah again? Considering we are supposed to believe that Izaiah was some troubled youth, why wouldn't Elon be gald his son has seemed to mature and has job at a great school. I get that family wounds and patterns can run deep, and somehow Joey was a paternal figure to Izaiah but Izaiah's troubles seem behind him.

    • Yeah. I wasn't feeling it either. If it was meant to be a chem test, it didn't work. I don't think so. Because I think Neil and Liz moved into that house after Stefano "died", and Neil lived there until he went to go see his patients and never came back

    • Canada aired a repeat today Tues. Nov. 18. So after being a day ahead for the past week, they will now be back in sync with U.S.
