From the Dec. 18 issue of Soap Opera Digest:

Look for a big mystery soon on ATWT, involving a shocking act against a major character.

----------

OK, folks, sounds like someone's gonna die on ATWT, and I think it's Dusty (I consider him a major character, and GM's contract is reportedly up this month.) I highly doubt it's Katie, and would ATWT really kill off yet another family member of Barbara's (Paul), even if Roger Howarth is thinking about going back to OLTL (just a rumor as far as I know)???

FYI, if it's a death, it WON'T be Bob Hughes. An upcoming spoiler detailed in this issue is that Bob has a stroke, but there's a quote from Don Hastings (Bob) saying that he has re-negotiated his contract, and the execs have assured him that Bob won't die.

It doesn't say someone's going to die. My guess is one of the Hell Quad acts out. My guess? It's a way to write Rosanna out. I'm sure her coma-itis would explain some kind of anger management problem. At least on this show.

I agree that it doesn't say a murder so I don't think it means aomeone is going to die necessarily.

I had forgotten about the timing with Rosanna leaving, so that is a good point.

I do think it could have to do with Dusty as either a way to write him out or they promised him a story if he signed a new contract.

There's a 2008 spoiler that says Chris will do something shocking that affects the Hughes family, and another that suggests Craig will become homicidal. But I don't know how far that goes for being a mystery.

Nothing major on this show is going to happen outside the relm of Katie, Meg, Carly, Gwen or Emily so it has to be related to one of those stories.

The Big Mystery is whether or not Jean can write for a major character. No need to do one Jean Piss....I know you cant!

If this mystery runs into February, it may be even worse than previous mysteries because Goutman and phantom writers will be making it up on the fly.

Well...Goutman has been bringing back favorites. But his ideas for stories stink. I'd rather have a phantom writer than Jean Piss anytime.

 I shudder to think what she might do to any more major characters

It would be another baby story. Maybe Kim decides she wants another baby. So Kim jumps Bob's bones before it is too late!!

Here's what I think:

RoRo's going to die in Feb., but an autopsy will reveal it was not due to her coma. And Craig, Meg and Paul will all be suspects.

And then it will be revealed it was Eli.
