Members PhoenixRising05
Newcomers left and right, Hinsey exposing her (she wouldn't report it if she didn't know for sure as it gets her in trouble and Higley), spoilers indicating that things are lesser then they should be. There are plenty of hints that it's Higley and Hinsey all but gave us confirmation, especially since the other names in the article like Alden and Griffith we know are already true. Administrator Toups Posted January 25, 2008 Administrator Share Posted January 25, 2008 I've just learned that the WGA has revoked nominations from Fi-Core writers. So that's: James Harmon Brown and Barbara Esensten from AMC, Garin Wolf and Michael Conforti from GH, Paula Cwikly from Y&R.
Members Adam
So if either of those shows win the award this year, they won't be a part of it?
Members Sylph
So in what status are they now?
Administrator Toups Posted January 25, 2008 Administrator Share Posted January 25, 2008 Correct. I'm sorry, I don't quite understand what you're asking. Status?
Members Ryan
Xavier....we need to talk on AIM when I get home, lol. I got some questions.

Members Kubla Khan
Uh oh! The FiCore writers are on the WGA's [!@#$%^&*] list! Now watch AMC win the damned thing, with Megan McTavish on hand to accept (and you'll know she'll be there, like the year Guza's writing won GH the Emmy but she was on stage & smiling proudly anyway). Administrator Toups Posted January 25, 2008 Administrator Share Posted January 25, 2008 I didn't think of that! LOL McTavish is going to accept the award (if AMC wins) and she's going to rub it in B&E's face.
Members Sylph
Let me translate from Mandarin Chinese: are they now out of the Guild forever?
Members Kubla Khan
Which would just be ridiculous and tacky and I would lose all respect I have for Megan McTavish (or whatever is left) because she certainly didn't work on the "crash" episodes (which got them the nomination). It would best for someone like Michelle Patrick (who wrote the breakdown of the episode) to accept, or the SW.
Members Dr. Jay S.W.
That reminds me...I saw those pictures...What the hell was Mctavish doing cheesing it up in that picture?
Members Khan
I doubt the WGA would award a writer who had no participation in the winning material. If AMC were to win, the other writers would receive the honor, just not B&E (or McTavish).
Members Kubla Khan
Unfortunately, the WGA works like the Emmys, where the award goes to all the writers who worked a minimum of 3 months during the year. So, Megs is on the list, sigh.
