The Happiest Day for All of us is when Jack embraces Carly when he learns the truth and Katie goes running off to that Fluffy Bunny of hers

Oh and if all they are going to do is use Vienna and Henry to PIMP Katie then they need to be put on the backburner...it's beyonds pathetic to use an excellent actor like Trent Dawson to prop up a couple alot of folks GAG over.

Awwww...thank you... She cracks me up.

Why does the song Band of Gold comes to mind when I see Fluff-to-nothing in that big bed all alone ;)

Now that you're gone

All that's left is a band of gold

All that's left of the dream I hold

Is a band of gold

And the memories of what love could be

If you are still here with me

We kissed after taking vows

But that night on our honeymoon

We stayed in separate rooms

^^^Well, I know I LOVE your Grandma, SNYG!

Ugh...wasting all that friggin' time on a marriage that won't even get off the ground. WTH?? Did you see that ugly-assed ring Fluff put on Jack's hand? It looked like those "rings" you made as a child out of gum wrappers. I can't wait to see how long it is before Mike messes up, and starts wearing his own gold wedding band.

The stuff with Carly and Brad was heartbreaking. This is one time I didn't feel totally grossed out when they switched to the hand held camera at the station with Carly.

Loved all the little snarks about the bad omens...Tom's car breaking down, rain on the horizon, the seventh inning stretch during the vows, even Sage impatiently interrupting the first dance.

Best of all...the last shot in the preview...lonely Fluff, lying alone in the dark, gazing at her meaningless bling-bling. Death to Kack!! Long live Carly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know it's funny. Even though I knew in advance from the spoilers that Kack get married I still found myself hoping that it wouldn't happen today. The only thing keeping me going is watching Jack and Carly tomorrow. You know that's going to be heartbreaking. I loved seeing poor fluffy all alone in bed looking at her rings....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH....NOT!!! I can't wait for the beginning of Carjack finding there way back to each other to begin and the end of KACK!!!!

By the way I LOVE BRAD!!

    • Oh, I see! You posted this on the general retro soap thread because of the voiceover.
    • Yeah, I agree. It's part of the reason I have shade picked on Martin's Secret being so on the backburner that it was about to fall off of it. With Dani/Bill/Hayley being the main tale to start us off and backburned and the SilkPress storyline being well paced, but not set to explode until May, Martin's Secret was the other main storyline that could have been developed. And after giving it a nice slow burn to start off, the story upped and vanished in Month 2. That left the show having to rely on mostly B/C stories to stay afloat to various degrees of success.
    • I loved those scenes, lol. I thought I was watching a stage play. But I do hear what you're saying.
    • Jason47's episode summaries clarify everything. https://daytimeroyaltyonline.com/days-daily-summaries-1990-1999-t14806-s150.html The construction company is "AJ Construction" (AJ = Adrienne+Justin).   Jencon Oil was building an oil refinery at the construction site.  This was adjacent to the park. Kirk Geiger played the character Chad Webster. The character Chad was an actor in the movie being made.   The child friend with Shawn-Douglas is his cousin Andrew Donovan. A few episodes prior, Andrew and Shawn-Douglas were at the park playing hide-and-seek. They wandered off where they shouldn't have gone, by slipping through the gate onto the construction site.  Shawn-D fell into the hole at the oil refinery. There were several episodes of trying to rescue Shawn-D.  Finally Carly rescued Shawn-D, but he was discovered to be deaf.  Andrew felt bad, but Bo and Shane both understood that it was an accident.  Carly later taught Shawn-D sign language. Shawn-D was played by Scott Groff. Andrew was played by Bradley Michael Pierce. pics here: https://web.archive.org/web/20070404163013/http://www.childrenofsalem.com/days/kids/shawnandrew/shawnandrew.html Larger context here: https://web.archive.org/web/20080614054207/http://www.bethsdayspage.com/days/riverfrontraider.htmlhttps://web.archive.org/web/20080614054207/http://www.bethsdayspage.com/days/riverfrontraider.html
    • I had a situation last week where I could watch the new episode on Paramount Plus on my laptop, but it wasn't even listed on my TV as an option.

    • I'm trying to think whether AW had anything remotely resembling that once Steve was killed off and Alice left a widow. So many young love stories were wrapped up either by marrying and leaving town or marrying and killing off one party. Maybe they acted in the final year as if Vicky and Jake had been that couple all along, but they both had better other mates along the way and also Jake was actively hostile to Vicky at too many points without any subtext of caring about her.
