Y&R gets the cold shoulder that we gave to B&B last month. Lynn Marie Lathan and company obviously don't care about their audience, their characters, or their cast, so why should we?

Ooohhhh I like what they said about AMC - it was spot-on.

This little review is giving way to much credit to the Luke/Noah story and ignoring the holes in it. And to say that KKL was "over the top" during the rape on B&B is appalling.

I couldn't agree more At times, it does make me laugh.

So does this mean the the 2008 Daytime Emmy Drama Series nods will be GL, B&B, ATWT & OLTL? With GL being the eventual winner (yet again ) It seems as if Kreizman/Wheeler are the best combo GL's had in years. Maybe Passanante/Goutman are here to stay. Eviction notices have been recalled.

Will The Backstage have a 2007 Best & Worst this Decemeber or January? It seemed way too early to have a Best/Worst of daytime.

MVP: Kirsten Storms

After we raved about Maxie calling off the bet and seeming to grow a bit as a character, the writers back-tracked and acted as if it never even happened. Regardless, Storms still shines and is one of the only watchable things about the show these days. Her scenes with Josh Duhon's Logan as he gave into temptation and finally had sex with her were some of the hottest of the year, and her trademark blend of snark, street smarts, sex, and guarded vulnerability made this couple infinitely more watchable than the snoozefest that is LuLu and Logan. As our wise member Mahogany Soul points out, Storms has somehow managed to find the soul in what is, on paper, a typical one-note villainess.

Storms is soooo much better in this role than she ever was as Belle on Days. Now if its because shes older and grown and all that, or the fact that she isnt playing a whinny spoiled princess, idk.

You're right, JackPeyton. Storms is rocking as Maxie, and it's mostly because of her performances. I only hope she does not go to jail for a long period of time. GH needs Storms more than she needs them.

She isn't going to get a jail sentence for her DUI. First time offenders get probation. In California a second offense in less then five years requires a "sentence" but they are normally booked and released within a few hours (think Nicole Richie's 82 minute sentence).
