That was the safest match I've ever seen S play (only saw 1st set). I think the carnage from yesterday was in the back of her mind, so she relied on her serve and just kept balls in play and allowed Garcia to make the errors.

I didn't see the beast at all, but the serve was on point!

The Canadian Raonic lost

The Canadian Raonic lost

He's had an awful year. They keep pimping him to be the next great one. I think his game is ok but not that great.

An exhibition match such as this would be great for Tennis, and I'm super happy with some of the comments from the other ladies giving Serena her props! No matter how you feel about her, Serena and her sister are the reason Tennis gets as much publicity as it does. It was because of them the US Open went to Primetime, something that I think will change once Serena is gone from the game. Without Serena, we would have no American in the top ten, male or female. Happy to see Keys and Sloane stepping up. Jamie Hampton is another hopeful. Too bad she was wiped out by the time she got to Wimby.

Wimby13 has gone to hell in a handbasket...

Some have wished death on Kerber for losing and others want both hands broken. Wow! Sick folks out there.
