He pretty much said nothing. He is afraid of Justin.

The following if pure bull from Wertheim....

The ATP is discussing his fate as we speak. There’s no whitewashing here, no Claude Rains nothing-to-see-here. There is, rather, a willingness to consider the possibility of a defense; the possibility for nuance; a respect for due process. In this cultural moment, when the Internet demands swift justice, insta-outrage and immediate “takes,” maybe tennis is exercising some compassion and caution. We can—and do—denounce violence and homophobia and bullying and entitlement.

There have been other tennis players who have not been shown compassion. I could name a lot but I won't. And has Wertheim forgotten the Anna K. story??

LOL, it kills me that we have to follow a British newspaper for a story on an American tennis figure, coach of the No. 1 American men’s tennis player and commentator on an American TV network, who was arrested on American soil, with American tennis players coming to his defense. Hilarious. However this shakes out, I’ve lost the remaining scrap of respect I had for tennis media.

Never ever cared for this bozo either. This is the same guy that chickened out of matches due to was it panic attacks? I didn't believe any of his stories when he would forfeit matches. He wasn't even at the actual confrontation....

The ATP council is full of Gimelstob trumpeters supporters...ridiculous....the council should only consist of retired tennis players and not current ones...John Isner being one is ridiculous....u know they aren't going to do anything to him and let him stay. This has become a joke.

Losing respect for all of the tennis council....had this been anyone else this story would be front and center and the person would've already been banned.

    • Poor Philip. I appreciate how seriously his and Xander’s scenes were taken though. It felt like real drama and not like a big joke. You could actually feel Xander’s pain and anger. It adds another dynamic to the Kiriakis family storylines and I’m looking forward to the effects that this is going to have across the canvas. I can see them weaving Kate and Roman into this storyline as well. And it would be really nice if this somehow helped cause conflict for Stephanie/Alex too, especially because of what Alex did today. With any luck, Stephanie will be furious about it.  And I’m glad that Sarah has Maggie to confide in about her secret. I also liked seeing Steve and Shawn (and their matching jackets

) continue to be on the case. Kevin, revealing everything to them is another interesting turn in this storyline. Plus, it seems the writing has improved for Shawn as well.
    • TBF, I don't think we've seen her interact enough with the "have-nots" to know if she is or isn't. It's possible, but I don't think you can say that from her interactions with Eva and Silkpress.
    • You're right - though I did confuse his name with an actual actor who was on Dynasty.

    • "Might" is not "is". And I was talking about the specific case about her attitude to Eva.
    • But she can still be a priveliged elitist. She might have the same attitude to anyone from 'the wrong side of the tracks' whether they had an agenda or not. Nicole seems to be an outlier in her family. Her parents, kids and sister seem to think themselves above reproach.
    • Damian's clothes have definitely been a specific look -kinda reads 70's pimp to me . I guess it's a trend?? but it seems more suited to Holden. JR is 51  and I guess Damian is supposed to be a little younger but it looks a little odd on him in my book. But at least they're trying. The men's clothing has been bland/generic for years-either suits or basic casual stuff interchangeable  b/w them.
