Lawd...Thiem just lost to Klizan in his own home tourney. When will he stop playing so much tennis? There was no reason for him to play two back to back clay court tournaments.

Agreed. I can understand why a few lower-ranked clay court specialists would play on the surface this way in the year to make some cash, but Thiem should have earned enough money and technically should be a contender on all surfaces. He’s doing himself no favors.

He was a finalist in Paris. He doesn't need to prove anything else on clay. Nadal doesn't even play these meaningless tourneys(even though one is a 500 one). He IMO is hurting his clay court standing as being only behind Nadal. He should be focusing on the hard court season and relaxing these two weeks. When will his coaches finally wake up too and stop him from playing so much?

She won't be defending that Slam in the near future.

I think you never know with Sloane. She could just turn things around on a dime when you least expect it. But she typically GOATs on U.S. soil.

Is it weird that I used to be annoyed with Andy Murray’s running commentary during his matches but now find it amusing?

Muguruza out of San Jose with an arm injury.

It’s crazy. Even with hampered mobility, Murray gets to balls that would be winners for most of his opponents.

Malek Jaziri’s lips, though. Lisa Rinna wishes.

It's amusing when Brett Haber calls Andy Murray a tennis legend.......I was like WTF and then just :lol::lol: and then he mentioned how noble Andy is....:lol:  Lawd Brett sure was licking some ass.

Of course I was for Kyle.......

Breaking news....Lendl will be working with Sasha to Murray's surprise...he didn't look happy...LOL

Malek looks so sexy in that pic...love his jacket....too bad Sasha is trouncing him....

Glad Tsitsipas beat THE MARK IS RIGHT HERE again after beating him at Wimbledon. Too bad TC didn't show the match.

And Stan will not play in Canada because he didn't use his protective ranking but instead asked for a wild card and didn't get it.

Nishioka won 11 of the last 13 games to beat Taylor Fritz in Los Cabos. A good win for him since returning from injury, but people are saying Fritz did a Kyrgios-style tank.

Interesting matches in DC tomorrow: the Zverev brothers’ first match against each other on the tour; Shapovalov/Nishikori; Goffin/Tiafoe.

I think we have to include France on the list of hot nations for tennis players. Quentin Halys is 🔥. The young Simon, Gasquet, and Tsonga were all lookers. Chardy, Herbert, and Pouille are hot. Paire could certainly look way better with a trimmed beard and his natural hair color. They have this guy Laurent Lokoli who is very attractive.

Most of them are effing nuts, but it is what it is.

Actually, a lot of the younger Americans are cute. Michael Mmoh, Marcus Miron, Mackenzie McDonald, Noah Rubin, and Thai-Son Kwiatkowski are good-looking. Even Taylor Fritz, whom I don’t particularly like, is photogenic.

From his media page ....Dominic Thiem

I am sad to announce that I had to withdraw from the doubles here in Kitzbühel. The physios told me, that I shouldn’t be playing tennis for 2-3 days to prevent a shoulder injury from happening. I want you guys to know that I haven’t been effected by any shoulder issues during yesterday’s match, but I have to focus on my health now, especially with the big tournament’s coming up in the next few weeks. No one is more disappointed than I am, but I had to make the decision and I am sure it’s the right one.

When will his coach and he learn he is playing too much.....
