This week was rather lackluster tennis wise from the boring Davis Cup to first woman's clay tournament which I tried getting into but hasn't been the same since they moved the tournament. I instead enjoyed some Masters golf this weekend.

Madison Brengle is suing WTA/ITF. They injured while checking for doping

How do you get injured while being checked?

The pain from three mandatory blood tests before Grand Slam events in 2016 has lingered, Brengle said, leaving her with damage to her right arm that has affected her serve.

I've seen her game and her serve was never an asset.

In an interview last week before her lawsuit was filed, Brengle said that intense reactions to venipuncture have been an issue in her family for generations. She said that when her grandmother was in a coma after suffering a stroke, she screamed when a nurse inserted a needle into her arm.

Is she [!@#$%^&*] serious? Hell a lot of people scream after being injected with a needle.

According to the complaint, Brengle is seeking damages in excess of $10 million. She has won $2.2 million in prize money during her career.

Kohlschreiber isn’t having a good week.

Re: Houston. There’s almost no one rootable playing so I’m giving that a miss.

I hope Felix Auger-Aliassime can live up to all that talent and potential he has.  He seems to have a level head, all I can hope for is that he has a sturdy constitution and the ability to stay as healthy as possible.

No Delpo or Chung (smart scheduling), but Nadal’s quarter is stacked.

Well Chung has played a lot. I doubt he would do much of anything at MC. Same for Delpo that's why Isner beat him in Miami.

Bummed about Edmund losing in the finals. I think that's the worse I've seen him play and so far the MC is ok....was hoping Fucsovics would've won today. Tomorrow's matches look good!

Pablo Andujar is just lovely to look at, though, and it’s nice that he was able to string together so many wins after injuries.

Haha....+1....I had forgotten how hot he was but his game isn't going to cut it against the rest of the ATP tour. He has beaten some good guys but his serve still stinks....LOL

I’ve never rooted harder for Stevie Johnson in my life. And he almost fûcked it up.
