TC discussed how he had a break in the last set and had it won. They pimped Johnson to the hills especially The Bozo. It's not a biggie. There were several write ups about Johnson's win and out of all those write=ups only 3 responds to one of them. He is not a fan favorite and his win will be forgotten by today. The clay tourney didn't have the big names so him winning really shouldn't be a surprise.

Lawd Simon chocked!  He should have beaten Novak. Novak is still sucking on court. I had LOL at his heart to the fans.....considering how many hate it and trashed him on it this weekend....LOL

Anyone seen his music video? Tennis fans are saying he is trying too hard still....LOLOLOL

I could never really be bothered with Simon. When you're that basic, you should at least be able to capitalize when opportunities fall into your lap like a Konta or a Kerber does.

I was only able to see about 3 games and I saw the precise moment when Gilles started playing nervy, panicked shots and promptly closed out the link, knowing full-well that he'd probably never recover and I was right.

Chardy and Pouille look like the only two Frenchman who have a chance of making an impression in Monte Carlo this year. I knew Monfils would skip this year and most of my enthusiasm went bye-bye once it was confirmed that he wouldn't be playing, then Kyrgios missing and even Gasquet who usually at least makes the Quarterfinals in Monte Carlo skipped this year.

Tsonga probably should've skipped. I completely forgot about him until Sunday when I saw his name on the entry list. I took one look at him and knew he was in no condition to grind on clay for points. Hey, maybe he's hoping to play himself into shape?

Paire just got blasted by Haas' wife Sara for comments that Paire made about Haas after Paire's loss.

Tsonga shouldn't have played ...he is still in baby heaven....LOL

I was surprised Chardy won. He hasn't done squat this year and has been playing a lot of challenger events. I am sure Borna was exhausted too with all the tennis from last week.

Paire did well last week but I have never cared for him as a person.

UGH ....tennis channel is pimping Steve Johnson again right now and are talking to him by phone....I am so sick of them pimping these American losers....yeah he won a tournament but it wasn't some big ass tournament. Hell, Sam Querrery won a bigger tournament and they didn't pimp him as much.

Tennis Channel forgets his lost 0 and 0 I think loss to that qualifier in Nashville.....LOLOLOL....yet they are pimping his 15 match wins and how much he traveled to get to Houston...ugh.....

He is so dumb. He SHOULD have won that match. He totally froze during his service game.

@Soapsuds Tsonga looks like he's carrying baby weight. It can happen, so I've heard.

According to Yannick Noah, Chardy was chosen for the French Davis Cup team for the tie they played a few weeks ago (over Simon presumably) because Noah thought he was fit and had been playing well lately. Perhaps Chardy's success in DC a few weekends ago has carried over to today's match. Still, I don't know how far he can get in this field.

    • 5-13   Hmmm. That was a little bit better.   I admit that it did appear that Damian and Lily are dancing around each other. I don't mind it tooo much because I like them together. But there is only so many times they can have issues around trust. But at least he decided he might be willing to work with her against Dumas.   I actually enjoyed Giggly Heffa/Billy/Sally. This time at least. I would have liked to see Phyllis continue to be introspective and form an obsessive bond to Sharon...which was where their storyline appeared to be going...because it felt like it was going to lead to something new. So sad that does not seem to be the case. That said...Phyllis scheming is something I can get behind and MS does give good scheme face. Bonus that it will move the Dumas storyline right along by her taking things into her own hands.    Phyllis...and Victor? Well...hmmm. I have to giggle at these Summer mentions.
    • @VelekaCarruthers thank you, but was not Katherine who had feelings for her friend Joann because she missed her deceased husband and felt lonely and tried to kiss her and Joann ended their friendship? I have not seen anything on You Tube and I don't know if the kiss was aired or not. I still have to consider the kiss between Bianca and Lena on AMC in 2003 as the first lesbian one on US soaps.

@dc11786 thank you for the detail about Azure and Bernardo's sex scene which I ignored - or, better said, I know Azure comes out to Bernardo right after having sex when he want to know the true after reading the scoop by Jared Chase, but I didn't know their first time was showed on TV. Now I really want to see this episode. I'm reading on Wiki that Another Life went on air on Christian Broadcasting Network and maybe that is the reason for which Tony was an unseen character as Stanley Walker in Will & Grace. @j swift thank you too for the answer. Very helpful. ✌ It seems this storyline was a mess and very bad. What a shame and missed big opportunity.
    • I don't care.  I feel that murderers and rapists shouldn't be romantic leads.
    • https://variety.com/2025/tv/news/7th-heaven-reboot-cbs-studios-jessica-biel-1236401017/ Sources say that the new show would focus on a diverse family, and that none of the original cast members would appear.  Anthony Sparks will serve as executive producer and showrunner on the reboot.  Jessica Biel, who starred in the original series, is executive producing under her Iron Ocean banner along with Michelle Purple.  DeVon Franklin will executive produce via Franklin Entertainment and his overall deal with CBS Studios. Sparks was previously the showrunner on the critically-acclaimed OWN series “Queen Sugar.” He also worked as an executive producer on “Bel-Air” at Peacock and the Mike Tyson biographical series “Mike” at Hulu. His other TV writing credits include “The Blacklist” and “The District.” Franklin is best known for producing faith based films like “Miracles from Heaven” and “Heaven Is for Real.” He previously held positions at Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment as well as MGM and Sony’s Colombia Pictures. In his time as a studio exec, he worked with Smith on films like “The Pursuit of Happyness,” “Hancock,” and “Seven Pounds.” His other credits include the animated Biblical film “The Star” as well as “Flamin’ Hot” and the BET+ original series “Kingdom Business.”
    • I think both of them have been given balanced, nuanced, and honest writing about who they both are, flaws and all, for months now. It's not so basic or black and white.
    • Grant Aleksander talks a bit about Capitol 50 minutes into this interview. He says he did the show because he was under a hold due a pilot he made for Aaron Spelling and only had limited choices in what he could do. John Conboy agreed to hire him at Capitol for six months but told him he would only really have two sets - a pool and a bed.

    • The Gio apology tour is getting very annoying and boring really fast.
    • I can't believe sweet and innocent Sarah Whiting would call Evie Stone a "tramp" and Wendy Carter a "slut"!

Phillip Brown and Maree Cheatham did not get along at all
    • Xander and EJ are villains.  I don't like them being written as romantic leads.  My opinion.
    • And those two couples cover all the main families on the show. As long as good story is happening than I'm happy to continue on with them together.
