All: What soap couples are "tortured" the most?

By tortured I mean something is ALWAYS happening, they barely have time to breath before the next thing comes along.

I'd say:

Zach & Kendall-AMC

Will & Gwen-ATWT

Carly & Jack-ATWT

Todd & Blair-OLTL

Sonny & Carly-GH(when they were together)

Currently, for my soaps, I would say:

John & Marlena, DAYS

Shawn & Belle, DAYS

Jack & Carly, ATWT

Will & Gwen, ATWT

Ethan/Theresa Passions

Oh yeah definitely John & Marlena. I'd say Bo & Hope and Jack & Jennifer as well

Definitely, I don't even watch GL, but I know they're a pretty tortured couple

Right now, Id say Liz and Lucky from GH. Its been damn tough for their fans

The PSSNS couples defiently take the cake though. They cant ever seem to be happy for more than a few minutes

Ummm all soap couples, very rarely are soap couples happy for a good amount of time. Now a days most couples go threw the ringer and barely do they get a breather of happiness. There is always some form of conflict weither it is internal or external.

That's true Skin but there are some couples that get at least time to breath and be happy. But with some couples it's one thing after another(Will & Gwen for example).

I can't think of Will & Gwen having any truly happy time till now. It's been never ending for them

I actually think Will and Gwen are relatively happy right now. But of course it won't last. But that's the way soaps are written now a days. Usually the couple gets to be happy when they are away on a vacation of some sort but usually they aren't happy and that more or less due to the need for drama.

I mean a couple like Jamie & Julia, they didn't have conflict, but there are couples that the angst just seems to be heaped on them non stop.

Heck even JR & Babe were pretty tortured from day 1

Adam and Liza were pretty tortured. On AMC.

Oh definitely, as were Hayley & Mateo, and even Ryan & Gillian.

I know just about all couples are tortured, but there are some, it's just endless, like the ones I mentioned in my op.
