AMC: The character of Bianca should be killed off!

Since Eden Riegel feels that she's too good for daytime and B&E have no plans to recast the very important role ( imo becasue she's a lesbian) they should have her die of cancer or something. That would give Erica years of story because she would be left to raise Miranda. Not to mention give Susan Lucci her seconf Emmy. I would love to see Erica finally raise a child. Miranda would totally gorw up to be the next Erica Kane!

I see nothing wrong with Eden coming and going from the show. The returns work well for her, the show and the fans. Eden has been doing plays and looking for work since her departure from AMC. Just because she's not snapping up roles doesn't mean that she still doesn't deserve a break. Maybe she's tired of the hustle and bustle of daytime on a regular basis.

Besides, isn't she planning a wedding?

As much as I hate the constant comings and goings of the character, I think that until TPTB were committed to giving Bianca a proper story that featured her as a lesbian (rather than Bianca being a lesbian being the actual story), and stopped pussyfooting around the issue, Eden is right to stay away and just come and go every now and then. It must be frustrating for Eden to play a character that has barely developed and grown throughout her time on the show, and instead has become a saintly, sexless figure.

Killing of Bianca is the worst idea ever.

That's like bringing back fan-favorite Dixie and then killing her off immediately after. No fan wants to see it.

Plus - after so many people cried about Bianca, the LESBIAN, getting raped (GMAB) - I'm sure they'll be all pissed that Bianca, the LESBIAN, then dies. It'll cause an uproar.

Yeah, that's kind of the point. Not everybody's a Bianca fan. I had no problem with Dixie getting killed off. I couldn't stand her.

So, what do you propose? We have the LESBIAN live a saintly, celibate lifestyle whose only love interest is a wishy washy, sometimes I'm gay, sometimes I'm not Maggie? Or even better -- a man in drag?

ABCD/Disney are NOT willing to commit to the LESBIAN so why keep her?

True, cancer is a bit harsh, but she could get hit by a Mack Truck or something?

HELL NO!! Bianca no way in hell should be killed off. AMC should try to lure Eden Riegel with big bucks to return as Bianca (also bring back Hayley Evans as Mirdanda and Elizabeth Hendrickson as Maggie as well and leave Zoe in the easily forgotten past of AMC's biggest mistakes!). If not, RE-CAST Bianca. Kendall was recast very, very succesfully (in fact IMHO, Alicia Minshew is BY FAR the BEST KENDALL). A good actress could make the role her own.

If Eden thought she was to good for daytime she wouldn't be coming back for these little guest stints. And She left the show the first time in 2005. That is 2 years not three and she was back under contract for six months or so form 2006 to April 2007 so she has now only been gone for 4 months. And you have no proof that she was offered other daytime roles and if she had maybe she felt they weren't right for her.

Also if you didn't know she is interested in theatre and did a off broadway play not long before she came back in 2006.

    • I found it to be a rather odd way to deal with a character departing for parts unknown.
    • Today reminded me as to why I’m a little disappointed in the name that the new Pope chose

Luckily, EJ and Johnny, and pretty much every other character saved today’s episode.  I didn’t expect Javi to be the one to save Sarah though, and I don’t mind it at all, because if it means that Javi is finally going to get his own identity/character, away from his douchy bf, I’m all for it. Javi’s scenes would’ve been a lot better had it not been for him. EJ and Johnny were the best part of today. Their conversation hit a lot of important beats and I’m so looking forward to seeing them play out. And now that EJ knows that Johnny is going to work for Xander, that opens up another dynamic to their storyline and to the Kiriakis family storylines as well. Tying them all together could be really good. There are so many story possibilities that can come out of this. And I thought Carson Boatman did a pretty good job again too.  I also liked that Johnny was there to comfort Chanel after everything that happened with Sarah. They’re so good together. But I do have mixed feelings about Chanel possibly forgiving Johnny so quickly. Hopefully, the question that she asked him at the end of today leads to more conflict for the two of them.  And yeah, still no changes in Alex’s character lol
    • Awesome, thanks so much for taking the time to grab this episode. I had a quick review of your rip because I was curious why it was 700MB and 30 minutes. The first 10 minutes of the episode is 3169 (opening credits at 5 minutes and again at 15 minutes). I thought we had the full HD version of ep.3170 on the YouTube channel, but it appears they added the wrong episode but labelled it 3170.
    • I guess, according to Mike Manning in the Michael Fairman chat, he was almost Derek

    • That's a name I haven't heard in a minute. Thanks!
    • Well, since I'm still up unexpected past my growing-into-it bedtime. lol.   I finally got to rewatch Monday's. I even rewatched Friday's to take it all in. Now that we got the reveal and hit the climax of the SilkPress Sheila storyline, now we get to watch the aftermath and/or turns that come with its climax. So far, so good. Friday left us with three cliffhangers. And what I found surprising was how I felt about them over a rewatch.    I know some of you all felt a way about the dialogue during Kat vs Eva. I remember liking it more the first time around and it was nice for them to have these scenes to establish more of a frenemy vibe for them going forward. That still held up. But I found myself agreeing with you all about that dialogue. lol. Still, it was nice to have both of their POVs.   Second up was Silk Press Sheila vs the Duprees. And I was happy to get a brief spat with Dani in there. But the rest standouts for me was Anita and Martin. Haters can hate and given the tail end of the episode, I will agree to a fault, but Brandon has impressed and he was on fire on Monday and had great subtle work on Friday. And that subtle work made it all the better. Like I believe I said when I was watching...BC has a much better grip on his character and seems to be realizing what his tics are so has started to be able to know when to turn it up and when to dial it down. And for the most part (emphasis on most), he got that. Meanwhile, TT was giving fierceness, and I was here for every minute of it. Her reading SilkPress. Her being quip about it. Her 'BE STILL.' Ooooo she had a chokehold on me as Anita gave what I was expecting her to SilkPress. WORTH THE WAIT. I also loved Vernon's CHOOSE SILENCE. I wonder though if SilkPress will figure out Martin's condition from her observing Anita and Vernon with him.   And speaking of worth it...Oooo YES Nicole vs Ted was worth totally worth it. Oooooo I knew DD would nail it, and it was all so well done. The fight between the part of Nicole who is a therapist vs Nicole as a woman who wants to express how she feels. And being so angry. And how there would be moments when it would shoot out of her. And how she would restrain herself. But how she felt she should not be restrain. Just the levels of processing and layers. And DD played it all so well. I do wish Maurice gave just a little bit more, but overall, I thought he did a good job even if it was just Ted coming across as a deadbeat and not at all redeemable. And Kat being there for her mother was so beautiful.   Minority, but I love the montage though yes, it did run a little long. Given how the Duprees like to bond (and also as I mentioned from my own very recent family experiences), it did not seem out of place to me.     That said...let's see how the aftermath worked in today's episode. Overall. Cuz RC can be hit or miss.
    • I wonder whose brilliant (

) idea it was to do an almost complete rip-off of the "who killed Tom King"-storyline. That's some quality style writing right there.....
