I am enjoying the scenes at Rodi's. I just wish that Adrianna and Vincent were not in those scenes. Those two annoy the hell out of me!

I love Antonio and Talia. Bo and Nora are, well... Bo and Nora. :) And hell, pair Rex with Layla. I think they would be more interesting than Layla/Vincent or Rex/Adrianna.

With any luck, Mr. Higley will receive his walking papers as well by year's end.

As for Nora, I can't believe it....she's been in all 3 episodes so far this month. She was only in 5 out of 22 episodes in July. If she keeps going at this rate, she maybe on more this month than the last couple months combined.

I didn't like Vincent at first either, but I've grown to tolerate him.

Now would this connection be to the rarely seen RJ? If it bring RJ back, and returns some of the Gannon family (I always liked Hank and Rachel [now, she would help out Nora too]), then I can't hate too much. Llanview's only fleshed out black family has been missing too long, and it would make sense why Vincent and Layla would hook up to combine the families... it's unusual that you see more than one nonrelated black family in a soap these days anyways.

I liked today's show. I always enjoy the Mcbain brothers. It's one of the few times I actually enjoy John.

Lindsay/Marcie were good and how cute is Tommy? I wanted to pinch his cheeks.

The Mannings were cute and it was nice to see them acting as a family instead of being at each other's throats.

The ladies at Capricorn were funny. I think cast intergration and showing friendships on soaps is important. This was one of those days it was showcased and it's a shame it's so far and few between. When was the last time you saw Bo and Antonio bond? Even Adrianna managed not to irritate me. That's saying a lot.

All in all a fun, relaxing Friday episode.

    • I wonder if less set use was preparing for the move. They probably were preparing for this for awhile now
    • The early part of the season is decent. After that, Season 9 is probably one of the worst seasons until season 13. Season 10 is a little worse.    That would have made sense, even if it cost us one of my favorite scenes (Ben putting Lilliemae in a headlock). That's an excellent storyline and leads to the show's last strong season finale.
    • The TVC Studio 31 that they used for 38 years was only about 13,730 sq ft., according to the TVC website specs: https://televisioncityla.com/stages-offices/ Sunset Las Palmas Studios has 11 sound stages, which go up to 20,000 sq ft., though we're yet to learn which of those sound stages will house B&B. Depending on which one, the specs for it can be found here: https://www.sunsetstudios.com/los-angeles/las-palmas-studios/ Sound Stages 4, 5 and 9 are available for use starting September 1, 2025. It's unclear if either of those stages would be used by B&B since they begin production there starting Tuesday, August 19, 2025, which would be before the date shown on the website, but we shall see. Of those three sound stages, only Sound Stage 4 and 5 make sense since they are larger than the specs the show had at TVC, while 9 is quite smaller.  Sound Stage 4 would be the best option overall for B&B since it has 18,819 sq ft., the largest individual sound stage at the lot - Stage 3 and Stage 8 share space, which combined makes the space 19,900 sq ft. --- Forgot to add, unless there was an issue with storing the sets, the changes at TVC should have had no issue with production on the show, resulting in fewer set use as there has been no movement in terms of construction that would impact either show (B&B/Y&R). Of the 2-3 times I've been at the studio, the most recent for Don Diamont's 40 years at CBS, it was the most dead I had ever seen the space, but that could be due to vacations, holidays, or the preparation of the B&B move.
    • I didn't post about it in the BtG thread as I still don't watch the show (an hour runtime is just too much for me right now with a new soap I can't just mostly skip through) but I can't imagine the ego of someone who is hired as a breakdown writer and decides to [!@#$%^&*] their own name all over the show. Classless beyond belief. Any writer who cares more about masturbatory behavior than quality of work should not be hired.
    • Yeah, it would've made things more tightly woven.
    • I like Chelsea and Madison. Two very pretty black women as a potential couple. But I really wish this show would've showcased two very handsome black men as a couple instead.
    • I didn't even think of roasters from GH

Maybe this roast will take even more than two years
    • Irna wasn't involved with ATWT at the time of Neil's death, was she? I'm imagining a situation where right after his latest doctor's appointment, he's killed.
    • The Cruise of Deception was the first thing that came to mind when I mentioned that Brady might take after that side of the family
    • We all knew that TT is busy so if she's off screen for a bit except for phone calls and/or visits.. then it is what is. Ashley was nicely used as support... which the writers should have been doing since day 1 so that viewers could understand why exactly she's on the show LOL Chelsea/Madison.... seems too good to be true... we shall see. Shanice as a PT... if it means more airtime.. I'm good.
