Leann and Thaao! EEE! Now, this is what I'm talking about. The best romance in their age-group. I don't count Bo and Hope, because they are younger. Wonderful reunion, and great nod to past history with the gun and Q&A.

Max and Jett are up to something and if it ends sticky for Jeremy, I'm all for it. But, for the love of Pete, would someone please tell the script writers to show more of how this story actually affects the characters we love, so it's not so annoying?

Lucas and Sami really felt out of place today until Nick showed up. I'm glad they're finally giving Nick something else to do. I hope Blake gets some of his energy back.

Good show today.

I loved every second of Anna and Tony. It was so great seeing them together again and the couple I've always loved is really back! :D This whole story may be a bit of a copout Andre-wise but it's turning out fantastic! It's really great seeing J&M involved. They've been out of the loop with alot of stuff and it is a breath of fresh air seeing all four of these characters in scenes together without anyone else.

The young scene is pretty much the same old same old. Not interested too much.

Loved Lucas, even though he thinks they are EJ's, calling them his kids. It was so wonderful to see him trying to deal with this and not just being all terrible about them. I liked Lumi alot today, actually.

Yayyyyyyyyyyyy for Tony and Anna being reunited saving an otherwise craptastic Friday episode.

I just love them. Too bad Sheffer had to do his part to piss on the romance by bringing back the stupid island girl harem into the mix for no explicable reason at the end. Do soap viewers really want to see crap like this? Why did they waste money on those pointless extras?

Tony and Anna single-handedly saved this Friday episode. It dragged so much but Thaoo and LeAnn were magic. Loved their reunion and finally we got a classic, emotional couple scene. I liked the history and flashback, as well as the gun and Q&A. Tony nearly broke down seeing Anna and she did break down. Loved the little moment of indecision when the island girls came back and loved the plan stuff. J&M were in good form today too.

Sami/Lucas was nice. Liked seeing some romance. The ending scene was lame. I wanted an explosion. It would be a much better cliffhanger IMO.

Nick/Chelsea was so boring. Blake needs to get his energy back STAT!!

Jett/Max/Stephanie/Jeremy was also boring. Donovan is better but I just can't stand this story on days like this where nothing happens. Max/Jett was the only thing of interest IMO.

Ok show but terrible for a Friday. It was a pretty good week though so here's hoping to another good one next week.

    • @Franko Thanks for tagging me. A few days ago I was talking in another thread about the rise of "snarky" critics for TV shows in the '90s online recaps, but this is just more along the lines of a mauling. There's also the unspoken reality that these were seen as movies for women, so therefore they sucked. Pauline Kael also had her share of blunt, at times incredibly nasty remarks, but the vitriol is often balanced by her love for film. I'm not seeing that here.  With that said, the comment about Field's work becoming unbearable describes how I felt when I tried to sit through her and Maura Tierney on ER.
    • I skipped most of Daniel too. I think it's awful he has kids with Nicole, Csrky5 and Chloe and Brady, Bo and Philip do not.

    • Today was very focused on Bo and his illness.  I’m liking how everything is ultimately tied together, even though everybody doesn’t know it yet. The EJ connection seems a little sudden and random though. I’m guessing that that was not on Ron’s agenda. And I’m not really sure why any of these rich people couldn’t help the hospital months ago lol  But I really like how the whole sepsis drug thing is being written a lot more realistically than what we’ve grown accustomed to with Dr. Rolf and all of his wonder drugs. They’re definitely putting more of an effort into this storyline. It feels more real.  Philip was a little whiny and self-pitying today, but I also feel like the writing has improved for him as well. He’s coming off less like a villain and more like a tragic hero. I enjoyed his scene with Stephanie and hopefully it means that at some point, we’ll get a revival of Philip/ Stephanie/Alex. Tying it to Stephanie’s novel could be really good. And, the dorkiness of Xander and Sarah was really sweet too. I’m looking forward to their weekend together and what secrets may or may not come out lol

You're in the same category of the hacks that sell paintings with a single dot for thousands or even millions of dollars.

    • I have to check out his Bela Garody on Search for tomorrow. He was one of the main reasons EON worked for me when I was watching. Truly unforgettable presence. Handsome in the most perverse and sinister way. They don't make faces like that anymore.
    • My favorite moment in SOAPDISH is the HW taking the star to the mall in NJ to improve "morale"!!
    • Oh no! The shoulder pads! I will mourn them when they're gone. Please tell me the head pieces and hats remained!?
    • Shout! TV has now added season 26. Not sure what the reasoning for that was, but maybe it was the one that was ready to go...
