Oh Lawd! I actually kinda felt sorry for Brooke. And I wished Taylor had helped her out a little, if only because I was enjoying them being civil. But I guess everything is happening for a reason and I'm sure we got a little foreshadowing when Brooke told Taylor that she wouldn't want her to have her kids taken away from her like she did. Karma, karma!

I wonder how Taylor got home? That had to be an awwwwkward ride with Nick. LOL!

What a rip-off! A tie? Well, yeah, I guess they both sucked equally as bad. Ha ha! Was it just me or did Kyle Lowder toned down the opera voice yesterday?

I like Taylor but she'll see how it feels to have your child snatched away soon enough. She volunteered too much information on the stand and she knows what Brooke meant. She knows that Brooke doesn't really think of herself as a bad mother. She was just upset.

BTW I hate Stephanie.

Once again absolutely loving, B&B.

I'm so shocked that they now even bother for minor things to be explained, just like Dorothy having to fill in as her own attorney. This whole family court drama also reminded me a lot of "Judging Amy" prompting me to say a huge WTF to CBS for cancelling this great series...

Anyhow: 51051b.jpg

As Chris said, I was mildly surprised that Kyle Lowder toned down his voice and the song was nearly good. Still think Mackenzie Mauzy has the most beautiful voice (Bu lawd that skandy outfit for her song with Constie...) and should not be forced to sing with Lowder, but hey.

Thought the whole court proceedings were fantastically written. Although Taylor's witness statement was kinda one-sided. But leave it to Brooke to make things for herself in the first place. Her testimony screamed loony...

BTW: KKL was pure HAWTNESS this week - absolutely digging for her strict business look à la Martha Stewart.

KKL was looking damn fine!!!

Still have Thursday & Friday left but as I already read it's gonna be a LMAO-tie at Insomnia. Bwahaha!!!

    • I saw a conversation yesterday with Liam with the 7 dwarves hat and Steffy -  I know she did not say re: Hope and Liam said - well look at Finn and you forgave him right?      I know I did not hear Steffy say “well but you can’t compare that to…”  For *uck sake someone call the bitch out!?     You’re right, we shouldn’t compare your forgiveness for the dude with devil spawn seed whose daughter locked you in a cage along with crazy stepmom/mom/Grandmother who has also SHOT YOU BOTH - and multiple murder attempts but you have to exist with them / Hope’s part in a takeover which you know was FAR LESS THAN CARTER BECAUSE HOPE IS NOT AN ATTORNEY…. Goodness no, no the same thing at alllllllll.   When they do Steffy’s absence at least let it be because they all find out what a manipulative ho she is in her own right.
    • I think a lot of us still agree with that. I do hope that the resurgence in the soap world with Beyond the Gates will push ABC to either bring back these shows or produce a newer one.
    • So, this was fun. Elsewhere, friendly to polls, a poll on what do you want to see at the Nurses Ball. The Gio reveal got 18%, for Blaze to return & sing also got 18%, for Jennifer Hudson to do a cameo & sing got 10% and for Lucy to lose various parts of clothing got 9% but the huge one was the reveal of Drew/Nina sex which got a whopping 45%!
    •   I liked the effect of the curtains closing. Yeah it was like the end of Act I.   Or maybe they are simply trying to emphasize the drama of the end of an episode -- instead of a random abrupt end that has happened in some prior episodes.
    • I posted this in the behind the scenes thread but I know this thread is busier so wanted to mention it here as well. During their instagram live yesterday, Daphnee Duplaix and Trisha Mann-Grant mentioned that they will find out this month if the show is renewed for another season. Just a heads up so we can keep an eye out for an announcement and keep our fingers crossed for a multi-year renewal!
    • They haven't explained the ownership of the Bistro, but Doug told Holly the other day he didn't get the job there. Basically Roman just hired Doug on the spot and gave him a room.  It was really nice of Roman.  I don't know if he knows who Doug is or that he stole Julie's necklace.  That was unclear-at least to me.
    • I'm not sure how I felt about it, but I do kind of like that it felt like the show telling us this concludes the first chapter of the series. Could be interesting if they only do it for big aftermath episodes. The biggest mistake with Martin is that it's almost hard to buy his anger because we've gotten no strong scenes with him and his parents. They've all been with Anita/Vernon. I can't even remember him ever even saying one word to Nicole, even in passing.
    •   Thank you! Agreed on both posts. And the comments about Mike Manning are nonsense.
    • I haven't watched yet, but did they explain the current ownership of The Bistro?  Because when RonC was writing, wasn't he applying for work with Sophia?
    • I think Brandon has gotten better in normal day to day scenes, but he’s very over the top when the character is meant to be angry or agitated. I did laugh when she started yelling at Leslie and then when he started to throw all those damn books, lol. He needs an acting coach to work out some of these kinks.
